Stopped in during our overnight stay. Super kind people running the place. Wide variety of food—between our table we had a burger, chicken strip basket, taco salad and a Reuben. All of it was very tasty.

don’t sleep on the mexican side of the menu! ? ? ? as always, service with a smile. Upstairs dining has some quaint artwork and a nice bar area with flat screens. Back in the day the walls were decked out with extraordinary paintings by the great Stu Moskowitz. A local favorite to try, the cheese fries! You can even find an old relic outside from the old days, a phone booth.

The homemade pasta looked interesting but we were in a hurry. The sandwiches were tasty but I forgot to take pictures.

What a find!! Great food at a good price and the owner is very nice and knowledgeable about allergens. He had gluten free hamburger buns and my youngest boy had his first hamburger at a restaurant!! Good selection of beers too. Highly recommend

This place was truly the best. My husband and I are on a 3 day road trip from Texas and we stopped by this precious town and stopped in at Calicos Deli and wow… it’s EXACTLY the vibe we were searching for… the food is extraordinary and so fresh and it’s just a good feel place. So perfect!

This place was different. First off the person working was not friendly. The servers were nice. They had so many options to choice from Mexican, Italian, bugers, sandwiches, salads, soups. Way too many options! Nothing was speculater! I mean who puts lettuce, onions and tomatoes on a Reuben??? I would not recommend.

We really enjoyed this small friendly place on main street. The food was good, we had Mexican. It was hot & the cook was fast, but didn't spare on taste. The staff was friendly & helpful detailing the menu.We were travelling & wanted a bite to eat after visiting the redwoods.Would certainly recommend.Allen & Donna

Ordered a double burger and it was the best meal I have had on my entire trip so far. The patties were so juicy. Their fries are a more thin, chrispier type. I should of tried their onion rings. If I ever am in the area again' I surely will be stopping by again

I wasn't sure what would be open late when I stayed at work late. A coworker recommended Calico's as one of the places open late and with good food. I got a good sandwich and sweet potato fries.

On a road trip and pulled into the town for a bite. Calico's staff was friendly, the food (sandwiches, salad, and soup) were excellent and ample. The decor is eclectic and entertaining and it was actually busy with a lot of local traffic. If you are passing through at meal time, well worth a stop.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch and had such a great meal that we returned for dinner. Calico's is a small place with about seven tables inside and two outside. They specialize in burgers, sandwiches, and Mexican food. They also offer Italian selections except on Saturday and Sunday. We were there on a Saturday. Alcoholic beverages are available. You order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. I ordered a BLT sandwich and my husband ordered a hamburger. We also got an order of chips and salsa. The food was great and the salsa was homemade, fresh, and delicious. My husband said his burger was one of the best he has had and cost less that it would have at other places. I believe each of our lunches cost about $10. Although our hotel recommended a different restaurant for dinner, we decided to return to Calico's. This time I had a chicken fajita and a soda and my husband ordered a taco salad and a beer. The total cost was around $32.00. The restaurant isn't fancy, but the food was great and all was reasonably priced. The staff was wonderful, helpful and efficient. I wish it hadn't been Saturday so I could have tried their Italian offerings. I highly recommend Calico's.
