Eel River Cafe is a quaint American diner that serves great food, including the best country fried steak. The friendly, on-top-of-it staff accommodates picky eaters and makes everyone feel welcome in this real Retro Cafe. Their beautifully presented breakfast dishes are a highlight, and their good, great premium coffee is a bonus. This small local gem is a cute little diner with excellent food and kind, efficient service. For a truly great meal, try the perfectly cooked and seasoned grass-fed beef cheeseburger and fries, the grilled cheese and mushroom sandwich, or the perfectly seasoned chili with plenty of cheese and onions. The owner is hard at work in the kitchen, and the restaurant is an all around winner in every category.
