Super delicious (seriously, maybe the best tuna melt I've ever had) and staff were incredibly nice, even when we accidentally broke a plate.

I was unprepared to our at a counter And then get food delivered to the table. The space is long, narrow and packed with seating. It is loud and the layout could be improved.
I ordered the ranchero breakfast burrito and it was good. The pastry was excellent. Service was slow on a Sunday.

Delicious and clean food. The lattes are tasty, and the service was amazing. Food came out quickly and freshly prepared. People were nice, and the atmosphere is great for a nice chat with friends or family. Overall cool place with great food and drinks!

I took my very picky 95 year old mother for dinner. We were warned by a friend to order in advance, which was key. She had an enormous fried chicken dinner, which while a bit pricey was delicious. We did use napkins to soak up the oil on the plate first.
I had the Fish and Chips, and it was delicious. Ordered my mom's chicken ahead by 25 minutes. So we only had a five minute wait for her food, important since "hangry" is her middle name.
The one downside which basically ruined dinner for us, and other diners, were a family whose kid was literally screaming, laughing at the top of her lungs for 45 minutes straight. The family sat at the farthest end of the restaurant while their noisy daughter was two tables away. Screaming.
We couldn't hear ourselves talk, and she was literally louder than everything else in the restaurant. The staff were young and hard working, understaffed if anything, and the manager should have had a chat with the family about quieting the child or leaving. It was unconscionably unacceptable behavior by the parents. We figured the daughter was 5-7.
I'm the father of two boys, one of whom was "spirited", but we never allowed that behavior. We either didn't go out with them until they showed they could behave properly, or in the case of a meltdown, we promptly took them outside till they cooled off. We had more than a few dinners where one of us sat in the car with one of boys! Family friendly does not mean "out of control" playground behavior.
I suppose it's not fair to ask the young kids working there to be put in the position of reminding parents that they need to respect their fellow diners. Especially with the level of hate and rage in current society.
But it's also not the role of the customers. We did see a large family wait for five minutes to order, discuss the screaming kid, and left, unable to tolerate it. Oh, and they had kids with them the same age.
Parking was a bit strange. You park in the lot, go through a gate that locks behind you, into the restaurant. But... that same gates locks so you have to walk around the restaurant into the parking lot to get back to your car. You can't use the gate. Not an issue for me, especially after all that fattening food, but my mom was in a wheelchair, so I propped open the gate, walked to the car in the disabled spot, drive closer to my mom, and fetched her and brought her to the car. So if you have folks with you that have limited mobility be aware. This was on a Saturday night, so maybe the gate isn't locked during the day.
The food was great, I'd recommend to plan and order ahead if you don't want a long wait. Not inexpensive or fast food, but worth it. We'll go again.
Parking: See my post for details.
Kid-friendliness: See post.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, but beware of the locking gate. See post.

Where the Chef’s Specials Are Specially Unavailable
Came here with my girlfriend, ordered our meals, and waited. They brought out her food, then casually told me that half of my meal wasn’t available. Not because they ran out—no, turns out they never had it in the first place. Mind you, this was a Chef’s Special proudly displayed right next to the register.
When I asked about switching to another Chef’s Special, they admitted that none of them were available. So… what exactly makes them "special"? The mystery? The illusion? The false hope?
To top it off, they only refunded my meal, so I got to sit there awkwardly while my girlfriend ate. No apology, no offer to make it right, just a shrug and “oh well.” If you enjoy gambling on whether your food actually exists, this is the spot for you.
