My first time trying BCLL. It’s definitely a 3.5/5
The banh cuon was thin without falling apart which is not common at other banh cuon restaurants.
The filling was small but fit in the banh cuon layer.
I ordered the Dac Biet option. It came with Mung bean, fried roll, tofu and Vietnamese ham.
I’m not a big fan of the mung bean cake.
They gave half of the fried spring roll which was bummer cause that was the best topping...

This was the best banh cuon I've had since I moved to LA. Got the #1 combo plate with everything on it. The rice sheets are perfect and go so well with all the different toppings. The sauce is on the table and you mix in the chilli paste which is so absolutely bomb and legit with a real kick you can tell it's made of fresh chillies. Overall everything just feels so fresh and refreshing and well prepared. This place was so good it's got me thinking about it weeks...
