I just tried this place for the first time and I'm glad I did and I'll definitely be going back. The food is fantastic, nice atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. If you're looking for Vietnamese food this is the place to go. The prices are good also.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is very friendly, a nice clean restaurant.

• The ribs are cut medium thin but the meat is rich, flavorful, and not dry.
• The liquid fish sauce is not thick, has a sweet and sour taste, seems to have a taste of soda or vinegar. Still delicious and suitable with broken rice.
• The seasoned pork patties are delicious and not dry.
• Onion Fat is crispy and fragrant, not bitter or pungent
• Pork Rinds are 50/50 chewy
• Shrimp stuffed with crispy filling is fried without being oily but has a bland taste
• The rice is loose and grainy.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and loved the food and service. Everything came out fast and hot, my husband had the vermicelli and liked it as well.

I ordered the special combination rice plate. I liked the tofu with shrimp on the rice plate, very soft and delicious. The rice was very aromatic and tasty just by itself, and the toppings were generous. Would recommend

A decent and quaint Vietnamese restaurant that deserves some more attention. They have a lot of the staple rice and noodle dishes that'll give you a blast of nostalgia as if you're eating with grandma.

The entries get a tiny bit pricey but they give you huge portions so there's a good chance you might not finish your food. Like 2 entries for 3 people would be ideal.

What to order? Just choose between rice or noodes, and literally pick and choose what meats/items you want in it

The service is just really friendly and so heartwarming that it just puts a smile on your face too. It was relatively quiet when we went but seeing other locals come in with their kids and order "the usual" was so cute

I drive all the way from Newport Beach for this! This is the first place I bring my friends and family when they visit from out of town. Love the family that owns it :)

So yummy!!! It was $17 per plate and it was a lot of food. I only ate half of it and had to take the other half to go. The pork chop is cooked perfectly and has super tasty little pieces of fat. Everything on the plate was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I’m so glad we decided to come here during our visit to California.

The service was also great. Our waters were constantly refilled, we got seated instantly, and were checked on a good amount. We will definitely come back whenever we’re in town and craving it!

Broken rice with pork rolls:The dry rice is soft enough. Not ok, nothing impressive. Big pattiesPeel, long fiber. Lack of hearing, too little meat. If seasoned, it will be less messy.Peanut fish sauce, too little pickles. It's not delicious so this rice dish overall is not delicious, it's too dry and not rich at all.If you add more salad, it will be better.
