The Nem Chua Rán is good but the Bún Chả is okay. Today we ordered Bún Chả and the Chả (meat loaf) was still raw inside. The owner offered replace or giving us a drink to appologize but we declined and they said will improve that next time

Randomly ended up here after taking a 3-hour road trip on a whim—to Long Beach, and then Garden Grove not much farther. Intentionally over-ordered so as to have leftovers for folks at home, but could have overeaten and finished everything as it was all so good. What a fantastic find! Hanoi Old Quarter is an absolute gem and deserves every bit of its five stars.
