I wanted to try MewTea Cafe and it was not worth it. I ordered the House Mew Tea as it was supposed to be their most “popular” drink and not only was it expensive at $7.15, the “Jade Black Tea” was nonexistent. There was no flavor and tasted like water. The boba pearls had no taste as well and was similar to when I tried to make boba at home. The menu was also quite difficult to read as it was all handwritten and behind a plastic cover. The server wasn’t very helpful either. I had to Venmo/Zelle the payment, so overall, a terrible experience. I would not recommend this place. I’ve never paid so much for “boba” before ?

Wonderful place, cute and tucked away, but amazing atmosphere. The girl that took our orders was extremely friendly, very helpful with explaining everything, and very kind. The cat & anime theme is so cute and creates a great atmosphere. I got a Macha Milk Tea w/ Crystal boba & Rainbow Jelly, topped with cheese foam, and it was delicious. I also tried the Thai and Mewchiato, which were both great. Overall an amazingly cute and aesthetic place, I loved it so much!

So delicious!!! They brew their own tea for the Thai tea and it tastes so much better than the powdered! They are very nice, and it is decorated so cute! I definitely recommend.
It was a bit hard to find. Only one person made our 7 drinks and took over 30 minutes. Boba drinks were good.

One sweet girl working making drinks by herself. Very polite and apologized for our wait (wasn’t that long of a wait). There were benches for us to sit while she made our drinks. The taro milk tea and peach lemonade with mint is so yummy! Definitely will come back here next time I’m in CA just for that peach lemonade!

The boba is a bit less chewy than the regular that I get but I think that is just my preferences. The tea is very delicious. I had House Mew Tea as a regular sweetness. However, if you usually drink other tea with 25%~30% sweetness, then I recommend you to get a less sweeter version. Jasmine cream tea is as sweet as the House Mew Tea but its strong fragrance and cheese foam makes it less predominant. The bittersweet flavor of the Jasmine tea makes it much better. Make sure to mix before you drink it. The prices are cheap too.+The staff was really nice. She recommended us the popular teas and explained thoroughly of each tea we were curious about.
