Good Place and delicious meal !!
$1 freshly shucked oysters daily from 3 - 6 pm! Need I say more? Great other seafood dishes as well. Great service and cozy atmosphere.
Fast service, friendly, great foods.
Be prepared for long wait times. Lines out the door during rush hours. The seafood here is worth the wait. This review is for their location on corner of Brookhurst & Westminster. The menu is large. Vietnamese style for snails, clams, conch, and all other manner of seafood. Their specialty is hot pot at the table. There vegetarian selections as well. The drinks are amazing refreshing. Service was fast once you are seated.
This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Cali. Quality seafood, hot pot and signature sweet drinks as well. I always get the razor clams, chilean sea bass hot pot, grilled garlic butter escargots, soft shell crabs, coconut snails, and grilled scallops. Food quality here is always high. I've come here for lunch during the week and weekends when its packed. Service and food quality remains consistent. When I dine here it feels like the seafood arrived the day before. The staff is really knowledgeable as to whats in season and what dishes they recommend based upon your flavor palette. Seasoning is always on point when it comes to the hotpot, sizzling butter escargots and the broth with the coconut snails reminds me of Thai curry. You can't go wrong with any of their cocktails, coconut or drinks that feature kumquat either. This is a great place to bring your family to enjoy some traditional Vietnamese dishes. They have seating for large parties as well. Only recommendation is to be patient with the wait times. It can get long depending on the time of day. I always enjoy my experience when dining here. This location is staffed really well. Food comes out really quickly and the restaurant is really clean.
Bad service, unbelievably!!!
Very friendly and warmly greeted and served by An Hoa (our lovely waitress). Food is amazing. Will stop by before heading back to the Bay Area.
good food, clean restaurant & nice staff
amazing seafood, clams, crab, shrimp, scallops, escargot, squid
If you're into seafood such as snails, then this place is for you. The place is pretty busy during the afternoon weekdays, but you don't need to wait too long. We got small and big snails, along with clams and cold salad for aappetizers. I highly recommended getting small snails with coconut milk. The broth is really good and flavourful. The big snails too was very good. Cooked in butter, scallions and garlic. The clams and the cold salad was good, but I would go for the snails. Only if they serve toasted bread to go along with the snails. Would be great for dipping especially with coconut snails. Food prices were reasonable. The food came out quickly. Staffs were attentive. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

I finally got this place checked off from my bookmark list. I've heard of how the wait can be incredulous and it seemed to me with the addition of outdoor seating, it wasn't all that bad when we came. Being popular for their snails (escargot), we ultimately came here for that, not knowing their menu had so much to offer. It was a challenge to narrow down what we wanted so I suggest you come with a big group if you want to try many things. On top of the delicious snails cooked in spicy coconut milk, we also got their Mango Squid Salad (refreshing but wouldn't have minded ordering something else), Baked Scallop (I'll go with garlic & butter vs cheese next time), and alas, their Crawfish Fried Rice which turned out to be everyone's favorite at our table. This was a comfort dish jam-packed with flavor and the serving was not tapas-style like the other items we got. I did eye some delicious looking noodle dishes and their Chili Crab that would be worth trying next time. Another thing to take note here, they feature an extensive drink list from exotic fruit juices/smoothies to draft beers served by the glass or tower as well as all day happy hour cocktails for $8. I for one got myself an OC South Bar with cucumber gin, mint leaves, and fresh lime - really good stuff. That said, turnover can be long since some parties linger later in the evening.
Visited after initial shutdown order was lifted. Specialty of the house is their live sea escargot and diver scallops. High quality ingredients with innovative menu makes this restaurant a must visit for seafood lovers. Now offer outdoor seating but make sure you make a reservation or the wait can be excruciating under the heat.
This is one of the best and authentic Vietnamese food available in the city. We do love the Chilean seab bass hotpot, the seafood and the escargots.
Overall quality of seafood are very good. Price is not cheap. Line is long. Would recommend if you are specifically looking for Vietnamese seafood.
