Heard a lot about this place. The former Michelin star didn't hurt. However after a short wait(it was a slow day and we went during off hours) I was disappointed. Nothing was bad mind you but they really under delivered. The most glaring was the broth under whelmed. I've always felt with pho, the broth is the most important. Food is ok. That’s just being nice comparing to other Pho places in OC. Service is rude. An old man told me and compelled me to “sit down” while I stood up to come to the booth to pay. He even rearranged my seat and kept looking at me while I was eating. I was feeling like a prisoner or a criminal when I had to pay for a pricely overrated bowl of pho.

Cheap, good value. Portions are huge but the pho is basic to say the least. Tendons were cold, ox tail was cold. Phoholic is a 9.5 if this place deserves a 6. Come here if youre super hungry and on a tight budget. Cash only too which is inconvenient for their tax evasion.

Solid pho. Cash only! You definitely don’t come here for the atmosphere - it’s an eat and go kind of place. We got seated pretty quickly on a Saturday around 1200. They have a good size parking lot but it’s always packed.
Pho was outstanding. Service was fast. Cash only. Make sure you bring cash. Cash only. Would definitely come back again. Food was legit awesome.

I'm a Korean, and I’ve traveled all over Vietnam many times, and I can confidently say this place has better dishes than anywhere in Vietnam...!!! Make sure to add oxtail — it’s absolutely heavenly. I’ll definitely be coming here often!

This place was recommended to me. Stopped in town for the night and stopped by to eat pho here. There was no waiting as we got seated right away. It’s a small place and the tables were close to full. They had plenty of staffing to help assist with seating, serving and cleaning. I order the pho 79, which is their combo with everything. I tasted the broth and then the noodles. Within 5 minutes, they brought out the pho. Overall, I expected more. The broth was very plain and I could taste so much of the beef flavor. I don’t like putting in hoisin or sriracha in my pho, but this time I had to in order to actually enjoy the pho. This area is in Little Saigon, which have many other pho places. Parking is also tight and limited as well. After 5 minutes of eating, there was a line to get in. There’s no reservation, first come first serve only. Would I eat here again? No. With me being a visitor to the area and with so many options in the area, this place was not impressive enough to make me want to come back.

The best pho we’ve had compared to Arizona and California pho that we’ve had in our lives. They know how to keep the line moving and give you huge portions!!! Will be back when we’re in Cali again.
