Beef combination pho is great. Seafood option is not as great. Get the nhuc bell(fatty broth) for extra flavor. Price similar other pho in other area but broth cleaner n favorite. Strong pho aroma n flavor
I’ve heard about Pho 79 being one of the best pho in OC. After finding Phoholic broth too sweet, I decided to try Pho 79, and it did not disappoint!
We arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday and waited around 20mins for our table.
We ordered a large pho, grilled pork with broken rice, and fried spring rolls.
I found the pho broth to be well balance just slightly too greasy for me but not a big issue at all! We weren’t offered noodle option so I’m assuming...

Cash only, light lines during dinner rush moves but moves very fast for groups of four and less anything more and it takes a little bit longer. All of this doesn't seem all that appealing but this place is MICHELIN RATED it's had Zagat awards almost every year since 1995, their broth is amazing everyone I've introduced this place to keeps coming back.
Parking: Strip mall adjacent, the liquor store will tow so talk to them first.
