Why is the new phone number Unknown? Are they in business or no?

Maybe i was expecting too much from all the reviews, but Puff had me leaving really unsatisfied. The girl was nice and offered us a sample of the almond tile right when we walked in. She also gave us a sample of the pandan icecream. Doesnt taste legit at all, so we ended up with durian ice cream, durian croissant, and a durian puff. For the durian ice cream, there is a strong, natural taste of durian (unlike the pandan one which just has this very artificicial flavor). However, after a mouthfull of the durian fragrance, the aftertaste was a horrible load of sweetness. The bitter sugary sweetness that is not enjoyable at all to the tongue. The croissant is just, well, like any other regular croissant. Hardly any taste of durian in it. Its not bad, but i wouldn't pay $3.5 for this again. The durian puff is the only reason why this review got 3 and not 2 stars. There're real durian chunks in the cream that taste pretty fresh, and it has a good sharable size at $3. Overall i paid more than $10 for this place and I dont think its worth it at all.

Came here to purchase some fresh durian banh bia before catching a flight back home. At the airport want savor on the goodies and notice it was all molded. Only two hours from time of purchase until airport, what kind of business are they operating??? Called to report the incident but no answer!!! So buy beware, check your goodies before leaving the store

Stopped by this place in the late morning while looking for a good pastry/dessert shop. Was pleasantly surprised when we found this low-key spot; not like other places in the area. We were welcomed with happy smile and offers to sample their ice cream. Have been looking for a place that makes decent durian ice cream. Sampled that and the pandan as well- both were nice, fragrant and good creamy mouth feel. Also bought some almond cookies ( not what you think) after sampling those too. Although a bit pricey, they were a big hit at home. Had the pandan durian cream puff while there, it was so good! Great flavor, creamy, and the pastry was pretty fresh. I hope their business grows as it seems they are making a genuine effort to make quality stuff. Maybe they will be able to expand their menu again. My new spot when I have durian ice cream or pastry cravings. Keep up the go work and don't compromise the quality! : )

Amazing treats, I'm glad I found this tiny spot in garden grove, very delicious. Had been looking for a pasty that made fruit pasty like this for a while. Going to have to come back

My siblings and I went here since we heard the durian ice cream was delicious! We all had it and loved it. The texture was smooth and we are all just a big fan of durian in general. It's understandable how durian is pricey but it would be nicer if the portions were a little bigger. I would come back to try the pandan flavor!!! The lady who helped us was very friendly. There was plenty of parking!

Came here on a whim. It was 9pm and they close at 10pm. Saw the reviews and thought, "let's give peace a chance." Or was I thinking of Xmas music and a lyric stuck to my head? Regardless, we walked in hoping to be wowed! I will say that customer service was top notch! The lady at the counter was super nice and patient. She let us try all the ice cream they had. We tried the durian, pandan and coconut ice cream. They were all relatively good. We ended up getting the pandan ice cream, a pandan cream puff and a free almond Square. I wanted to like it, but it was so disappointing. The cream puff was hard, dry and tasted stale. I'm pretty sure it had sat in a fridge for a few days. While the cream was good, it also didn't taste fresh. The ice cream was ok. Not the best and not the worst. The best thing I ate was the free almond Square. It had a good crunch to it and wasn't overly sweet. Overall, the customer service was the best part of puff. There's a saying, "puff, puff, pass" definitely puff and gunna pass next time.

I like this place, the customer service by the staff member is very welcome and family like. Their durian cream puff is very light and doesn't overwhelm who doesn't like the smell and taste of durian. Not to mention it is very creamy puff pastry, however i would like the puff pastry to br a bit crispy on the outer skin. They also have ice cream in durian flavor. Probably a good place to get snack to nom on. I recommend this place.

People are really sleeping on this place. Please get yourself a marketer because this place is such a gem. I've tried many pork pate chauds around this area and usually they taste gamey, super soggy, and dense. Puff makes actual good french pastries!!! It's really all thanks to the chef who has incredible experience and passion in his work. When I sunk my teeth into their pork pate chaud I was really excited. The pork filling itself is airy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The outside was really flakey and fluffy and soaked up the sweet pork juice. I bought 20 after that. And I will come back for more in the future!

This is a great place if you are a durian fan. The durian ice cream and the cream puffs are very nice. You can definitely taste the real durian flavors in there, the cream is soft and just the right level of sweetness. This place is a gem.

I said I was going to stop giving out so many good reviews but this place was so frickin delicious. --WHAT WE ORDERED-- Pandan cream puff (~$2.50) Pandan ice cream (~$3.00 for a scoop) Almond cookie (tile?) Also got to sample: Durian ice cream Durian madeleines Unfortunately the durian croissants were discontinued when we came, but the owner/pastry chef hinted at it possibly coming back soon. --THE VIBE-- RIGHT off the bat, we were greeted by the pastry chef (didn't get his name unfortunately), who was one of the nicest shop owners I've ever met! He immediately let us try a durian Madeleine and an almond cookie when he realized we were having big trouble deciding what to get, without us even asking for it. And started telling us about how he uses real pandan and real durian rather than all the fake extracts. He also told us a bit about his background as someone who has traveled many places and how that has influenced his cooking. Also told us about how he's planning on beginning to serve savory dishes next week and even let us smell his curry mix! True passion. Massive respect. Not the most aesthetic looking place, but ample seating and the perfect place to catch up with a friend! --THE FOOD-- Honestly, I think this place has the BEST durian ice cream I've ever had. You could tell it was from real durian, and the mouthfeel was very rich and gelato-ey. Same goes for the pandan. Not overpowering at all, and was very authentically fragrant. Two thumbs up! The durian mini madeleine was pretty bomb as well! I think it was a little bit soft after having been out for a bit, but nevertheless could tell that real butter and durian went into it. Had an addictive tender crumb that made it blatantly clear that they did not come here to play with the butter. The almond cookie was alright; I'm not a crunchy cookie fan but if I was, I could definitely see why it was the bestselling item! The cream puff!! So, so fresh, and not stale at all like at some Vietnamese bakeries. The filling was reminiscent of the ice cream in terms of the flavor, and the texture was pleasantly light and fluffy. --THE BOTTOM LINE-- It's not the most IG aesthetic place, but that's not what we came for. We came for some delicious treats, and that's what we got, PLUS a wonderful connection with the owner. I'll be back to try everything else :)

Update: I came back to try Durian Coffee, since it was suggested by other reviews. If you can eat Durian, and can drinnk coffee, you probably want to try it. Price was $6.97, but I would come back for it. I would never have thought Durian and Coffee could be mixed in the same cup, yet, it was beyond delicious. The durian enhanced the taste of the coffee, and amplified my sensations, but I am usually into bold (not burnt) coffee. I usually think of fruity coffee for the morning, and bold coffee for the night. This durian coffee would be my deep-into-the night coffee.Almond tiles, again, were really good. Other items were good, but not good enough to make me want to come back. I would definitely come back for the coffee.Original Review: We came here while waiting for our table at Oc and Lau. The almond sheet was very good, 95 cent each. Durian cream puff was a no for me, a little too sweet and also too ordinary, pretty much what I would expect from any Bakery. The pandan and durian ice cream is pretty good, but not enough for me to crave for them, and I have always been pandan and durian fan. In general, good place, just not some place that I would specifically go for.

My wife wanted to try this place since cream puffs is one of her favorite dessert.Me,on the other hand,I'm not really a big fan of cream puffs. We ordered the pandan & strawberry cream puff & the almond tile but I call it "crack cookie",because it's addicting. It was so addicting that we came back the next day. The employees were very friendly & that's one more reason that we came back..& of course for the "CRACK COOKIES".
