I ordered fish 1 day in advance, paid in full and said it wasn't there at 4pm that day. I had to wait another 45 minutes. That's too bad.

The shop is located right upstairs at Saigon market, quite easy to find. The shortest way to get there is the stairs next to Nam Giao restaurant, go straight upstairs and follow the shop's instruction board to reach the right location. Even though I've eaten at many crispy-skinned grilled fish restaurants, I still like the grilled fish here the most. Firstly, in terms of price, the fish shop has more reasonable prices than other places. Selling big fish is big fish, not medium fish like some places. The fish here is ordered about 20-30 minutes in advance and will be available immediately and very crispy. Buy it and eat it immediately, no need to bake it, it's still crispy. I like to eat more onion fat, so I asked the lovely owner to give me more. The location of the restaurant is hidden, which is a bit of a waste, every time I come here it feels a bit empty. If everyone knows this shop, this will be a great choice for grilled fish.In addition to fish, there are other dishes here. I had the opportunity to try banh xeo and beef in lolot leaves, which were also very delicious.By the way, the fish sauce here is very delicious. Usually when I buy it from somewhere else I have to mix it again but here I can eat it right away.

This is the best fried fish I’ve had in my life. It’s the only place I go to for fried fish - it’s perfectly flash fried and broiled ! Every piece is crispy, the fish is perfectly moist.I went with a medium fish for 3 people. then came back the next day and ordered a small fish to eat myselfIt’s truly that amazingWe devoured that fish

This is a hole in the wall restaurant run by two women and an elderly gentleman. The food and service is painfully slow and you likely will not get refills on your drinks unless you ask for one. However, once the food is out, it’s super duper tasty and filling. Two medium grilled fish will feed a table of seven.the fastest way to get into the restaurant is at the back of the building up a staircase. there are stray cats everywhere back there, so it smells like feces and garbage in the parking lot. if that’s not your thing, go through the front of the building. there will be a staircase inside that leads to the restaurant. The restrooms are whack. They’re located outside the restaurant in the hallway. There’s no mirror or paper towels in the women’s restroom. They have a sign that says to please try to keep the place clean because they likely can’t afford a maintenance crew.Despite the shortcomings, I’ll still come back when I’m in the mood for Vietnamese grilled fish.Parking: the parking lot at the back of the building smells like feces

The place is a bit hidden. Its located in the back of the market and up the stairs. We came a little bit close to closing but the ladies there were still really nice, welcoming and made fresh food for us. The fish is super delicious and tastes fresh and crispy. The people were accommodating and the sauces were good. We would def come back again.

The service and food was amazing. The ladies were so nice and kept making sure we had everything we needed. The fish was so yummy! I also loved the ambiance because it made me feel very home-y and welcomed. We will be back for sure :)

First of all, thank you aunty Yến had given us such a warm welcome like home. She was so friendly and cool. The fish that we ordered was freshly grilled and crunchy to the point! I personally like the tamarind sauce so that sauce really blended in well with the fish and the peanut. For the goal with tax of $35!! $35 for 2 is a big win-win for me compare to other places! Please come and support this restaurant. This place give you the vibe of a food court but surely is a hidden gem.

I shared a small fish with my gf and we were both stuffed at the end. The amount of food I got for $30-35 was good. I deducted 2 stars because the service was terrible and the tables are sticky. I got served the fish within 5 minutes of ordering, but it took the servers another 10-15 minutes to bring out the sauce, rice paper, and veggies because they were too busy socializing.
