2nd time coming to somisomi . It was good. I got ube soft serve ice cream. It’s pretty sweet which I don’t mind . The taiyaki filling was Nutella and Oreo.

Out of all but two flavors and no strawberries on a Friday night. Never been to a SomiSomi that was out of almost everything.
Amazing !!!! Put your cold ice cream with your hot Tayaki red bean and custard are awsome can’t wait to come back for more.

Food was good . Up to the franchise standard.the INSIDE store was clean . Inside is very small and narrow no sitting area just a piece of wood acting as a bar . The taiyaki were fresh and delicious . The down side is its in a very guetto unsafe area lot of homeless around . ( one came inside on the day i ordered) .the sitting area is awful with view on the parking lot and stench of traffic . You have to find parking around the sourrouding guetto building the roads and parking arent maintain well . Employee werent super helpful nor welcoming . Went in went out . Not really the type of experience that will blow your mind . I ended up taking my food to take out because the store surrounding is really gross and not all that safe . I like the franchise but hate this specific location . I wish they would move it to a better area like irvine / costa mesa / newport

It's absolutely delicious ? Definitely going back. The only bad part is the place is so small that's it's hard to wait for your order. There were people everywhere standing around. Some were waiting, but some were eating inside, which left no room for people who were waiting for their ice cream. Kinda awkward. But the taiyaki was amazing!! I had taro with ube filling and loved it!! I will definitely be going back! I would definitely suggest trying Somisomi! Yummy!
