IT FINALLY HAPPENED! My a** got up early so I was able to call Dona Soca and set aside some tamales so I could finally try this place that has been plaguing my Insta. I set aside 2 chicken with green sauce, 2 rajas, and 2 pork with red sauce tamales at 9:22 a.m. In good faith, I paid for my tamales right then and there to guarantee my one hour trek wouldn't be in vain. I've been getting tamales from Dona Soco for two years. From the beginning when they had a cart. Unfortunately, it's not the same. The tamales are now smaller, the taste is inconsistent and the price is is too high. Today, I went to get a dozen and roughly a $33 a dozen. They had fresh sweet bread, grabbed a few. It paid $44+ The people working in the morning are extremely slow. 15 minutes waiting for my dozen,bag the breads and to pay. Oh man, I don't have time to lounge. Sad...read full review

These tamales are some of the best I've had. They have great flavor, are buttery smooth, and pack a nice punch with the spice. They are fresh and authentic. Not to mention the customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
