Great atmosphere! It’s cute and there’s a good amount of seating. I only tried the vanilla berry cake. It was okay. As a baker myself, I think the sponge cake on the bottom layer was really dense which I didn’t like too much.. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t get it again for the price point.
This was our first time at Vintage 1979, and we were a bit confused at first since we saw people already sitting down. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to wait to be seated or order at the register. I approached the lady behind the counter and explained our confusion and asked for guidance. She seemed a little confused as well, so I asked if we should just grab a menu and pick a table to order from. She nodded, so we sat down and waited about 10 minutes. Eventually we noticed...
Dont let the outside fool you... The Vintage 1979 is a total vibe, with a modern day tea house offering fancy cakes, ice cream desserts, and an assortment of teas. You will find anything from Soda/ Lemonade infused to blended and latte styles. Hot or cold the choices won't disappoint. The only disappointment is when you realize the whole menu can't be tasted in a single trip!
