Ordered a pound of shrimp, oysters, lobster (I think) mac & cheese, cajon fries and chicken tenders. The cajon fries are really good. I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce for the shrimp. The Mac and cheese was good
We as a group of three drove up from San Diego to visit the site of the wild game festival held in Irvine. We arrived hungry, and a friend local to the area mentioned that we would be pleasantly surprised by a sleepy restaurant “The Wharf” located in the heart of old “Garden Grove”, we found it, classy location, in the heart of “Old Garden Grove”, there was plenty of easy parking front and back of restaurant. Greeted by Christine, we told her we where first time visitors and heard that we would enjoy the venue and especially the food….awesome location, beautiful atmosphere inside, everyone we met were friendly and attentive to getting us served with drinks always a plus in my book. We ate like savages, most a blur but I can say the stand out for me was the Clam Chowder Soup & the Buffalo Chicken wings, everything was superb but those were my favorites…casual, comfortable, chill, thats the mindset we had and we loved it!

We had my cousins 50th Birthday party here over the weekend and our party took up over half of the venue 😎. The service was great! The restrooms were pristine and accommodations were made for all ages. If you’re in the OC I’d definitely recommend The Wharf for a get together, party or just a good time. Great memories were made and I’d definitely come again 😎🔥🔥🔥

Air conditioner was down during 92 degree weather. No air flow or fans, super uncomfortable. In my opinion, this place shouldn't be open until they fix the issue. Other customers left immediately after entering the oven...I should have done the same. Plastic table covers (or something) add a little extra to the uncomfortable environment. I won't be back.

Good food, but very expensive. They need more servers or bar tenders. Playing pool is tricky due to space to too many tables squeezed in.

Air fried frozen panko covered fish and chips. Nothing like the photo they show on their menu profile. My kid can make these better at home in our air fryer.

It was a glorified pool hall. The interior has picnic tables with chairs. The service was horrendous. There were only two other groups, small groups in the restaurant. The food came out in spurts with 10 minutes in between each one. Two dishes would come out, then wait for a 10 minutes, then two more dishes would come out, wait for 10 minutes and then the final two would come out. It was ridiculous. The server was nice, but it was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. And I’m a chef.

Good atmosphere, friendly waiters although a little forgetful, but the food makes up for it all.

I was there for a pool event so it was not a regular day. But LOVE the pool tables, beer was cold and food looked good. I have not eaten here yet but the atmosphere is cute/swanky and definitely a good time out if you like pool and good food, not your regular bar food. Their pool tables are the nicest in the county and I hope the patrons appreciates them and keeps them up.
Parking: There is a lot of parking around the place but it also does fill up and you may have to search for a spot across the street or in the back.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can go there until 10pm if accompanied by an adult. There aren't any kid games or anything and I am pretty sure (or at least I hope) kids are not allowed to play on the pool tables but if you have a kid you can't find a sitter for, they will be allowed in until 10pm.

Words cannot describe how disappointing this place is . In all seriousness it's hit or miss on quality. Took my family to celebrate a Bday 9 ppl total. Unfortunately service was mediocre we had to ask for our drinks 3 times the portions on the food kept getting less as each order kept coming out separately. Worst of all a random customer came to our table and told my kids to Stfu because they where having fun to themselves. When confronting the situation with management nothing was done to assist the situation they just said "we are sorry that happened" . Kinda seemed like the manager was under the influence and was almost laughing at what happ. 100% will not recommend this place to friends nor anyone and will not be going back to waste time and Money in this miss managed restaurant.

Good morning, I'm on vacation with my family ❤️ and they recommended this place to me but the truth is I don't recommend it. The food takes a long time. The drinks are hot with a lot of foam. It's not good. And in the bathrooms I found 2 large cockroaches. side of the toile the truth was the experience was very fatal ?no good
