The food is not delicious, the food is bland like water and has a foul smell. Mixed rice paper is dry. Ginseng with sugarcane juice is also bad. Not coming back a second time

The food is so bad. $30 for a pale honeycomb and only honeycomb and louvre leaves, not as advertised. Sugarcane juice is bad. Mixed rice paper is too bad. Never come

Advertised vs reality! Look at the pics below and decide for yourself if you wanna eat here. Be prepared to be cheated and disappointed! I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy! ??

Uncle Long and Moo next door share the same owner and kitchen. We got Bánh mì bò la lot (B1) from uncle Long and ordered xôi mặn (sticky rice) from Moo so we could sit down and eat. The lady at the registry desk for Uncle Long refused to crack a smile or say hello when we walked in. Lucky server at Moo lifted the mood. Bánh mì was good but was a little on the sweet side. Xoi (sticky rice) was wet but all the topping was delicious. I’d get bánh mì again but not xôi given how wet it was.

We ordered the food from Uber Eats. Free delivery plus Uber fees and tips. The bánh mì đặc biệt was tasty and the combo xôi was delicious too. We also had sugar cane juice and iced coffee. Both are yummy too.

most horrible service from closing an hour early to not willing to make any changes to banh mi and owner says "I prefer to make your bang mi the way I think it taste best". omg the owner makes everything for himself and considers nobody else

The reviews are rights about this place. Poor service, food quality is bad and taste like MSG. I think this place is going out of business soon. Same owner as The Moo

Uncle Long also has some good sandwches. Took my girl here for lunch today since it was good weather today. My first time here. I always drive pass them on my way to work and i have wanted to try them. I always get the Bahn Mi sandwiches with Pork or beef. They sale egg rolls and other pastries here. Boba drinks and coffee is good. I got me a cold coffee. Nice people work here too. Will be another go to spot.

The worst banh mi I've ever had. It is not very hard to make a decent one and I don't know how it was this terrible. The bread itself was incredibly stale. Did not even taste like bread - more like cardboard or those year old cheetos. I think it was out for over a day. The portion size of the meat was absolutely ridiculous. Must've been 3 ounces or less. And the garnishes? Two stems of cilantro and no jalapeno included. I honest should have went back and gotten a new one. I know they can do better for $8.50. Will not recommend this place and will not return.

I got the Bo La Lot sandwich and it only came with four pieces, I believe the picture shows five. Either way it doesn’t matter because it was very lackluster, the sandwich is drenched in sauce where I can hardly taste the protein. On top of that, they charge additional 3.5% for using credit card. My sandwich came out to $9. Money definitely better off somewhere else imo.

Máaaa thiệt luôn giỡn mặt hả trời, bánh mì bán như vầy rồi sao ăn ? Sauce đâu ? Cho ăn bánh mì với ớt trái hả ? Wth the bread is already dry, and there is no sauce ? Only chilli n fish cake ? For real ? This is not the first time, but i already forgive it. But you guys continue doing this i wonder why the rating dropped too much on both Yelp and Google, one day this business will go out for sure.

During a successful trip to Hmart with baby mommy #2, I had resisted to urge to try one of the cold pre-made discounted rice bowls and opted to look for some food in the plaza instead. I stumbled across Uncle Long's Sandwiches and made the biggest regret from there on. The menu was unique with the banh mi selections so we opted for the labeled best seller which was the Bo La Lot banh mi. Standing there waiting to order while we were the only ones took about 10 minutes. In that amount of time, I considered leaving and finding a different place, trust your gut.The bread wasn't even airy. It was thick and dry. The banh Mi was $9 after taxes and only included 3 pieces of the meat. There was no Mayo, no pate, no cucumber, no cilantro. Only pickled carrots daikon and a single sliver of coriander. wtf right??!When I ate my half of the sandwich, every fucking bite was just carrots daikon and straight bread.I tried to cherish the only bite of meat with the bread for the very last bite. Overall depressing visit to this establishment, I actually never felt this disrespected from a sandwich that I had to go to the only other sandwich spot that was open which was Lees Sandwiches. I do feel selfish for using Lees Banh Mi to cope and make myself feel better. Round 2 was thick but definitely not dry.

Oh, where do I even begin with Uncle Long Sandwiches? This place claims to make authentic Vietnamese bread, but it's about as authentic as a unicorn riding a skateboard. Seriously, the bread here is so thick, it could double as a yoga mat for elephants. I mean, who needs a workout when you can just devour their sandwiches and do a full-body workout in the process? Now, let's talk about their fish cake. I swear, it's like they took a rubber tire, seasoned it with disappointment, and served it on a platter. Chewy as rubber is an understatement! I could probably bounce it off the walls and play fetch with it like a dog.Flavor and seasoning? More like flavor evasion! It's like they've sent all the flavors on vacation, leaving your taste buds stranded in a tasteless desert. I even tried asking the bread to lend some flavor, but it was too busy being a wall in my stomach. And don't get me started on the price. I'd have to sell a kidney just to afford one sandwich here. I could probably buy a small island for the cost of a meal. Maybe they're secretly selling real estate and just disguising it as a sandwich shop.Oh, and let's not forget about the size of their bread. Midget size? More like elf-size! I've seen bigger crumbs on my kitchen counter. You'll be lucky if it even qualifies as a snack, let alone a full meal. The service is slower than a snail on vacation. You could start a novel, finish reading it, and they'd still be taking your order. I've seen glaciers move faster than their staff. Maybe they're practicing a new form of meditation while serving customers. And speaking of midget sizes, their coffee follows suit. It's so tiny; it makes a dollhouse coffee look like a bucket of joe. I've sneezed with more force than the caffeine in their espresso. And here's a juicy tidbit for you: Uncle Long Sandwiches and Moo Gelato have the same owner. It's like a double whammy of disappointment. If one place isn't enough to ruin your day, they've got you covered with two.So, in summary, if you want sandwiches that could build muscles, fish cakes that double as dog toys, flavorless wonders, a gaping hole in your wallet, tiny portions that insult your appetite, snail-paced service, coffee for fairies, and the double dose of disappointment, then Uncle Long Sandwiches and Moo Gelato are the perfect spots for you! But if you value your taste buds, time, and sanity, you might want to steer clear of this tag team of culinary catastrophes. Bon appétit (or not)!

The staff was nice but the bahn mi sandwiches were not very good. The bread was dry and stale and too large. Bigger isn't always better, I prefer the standard size bread that most bahn mi come with. The sandwiches that I got were like crusty dry footballs. The pork sandwich that I got had some kind of weird sausages like Jimmy Dean sausages but without much flavor. This was sadly a huge disappointment.
