I am always a bit skeptical about places with a strong 5 star ratings, but Saigon Vegan lived up to the hype. I’ve already gone back the following week after my first visit. On the first visit my friend and I had the beef stew, royal noodle soup, and shared the portobello tenders with house-made ranch (so good!) and the egg rolls. 5 stars to all these dishes. The Royal Noodle soup is so good but is even better if you like spice and dump in the chili oil they provide. On our return visit we shared the BBQ “Pork” with vermicelli and egg rolls and the garlic noodles. 5 stars for these dishes, too. The BBQ pork w vermicelli was so much fresher and lighter than expecting besides the egg rolls on top. I can also highly recommend their hibiscus tea (if you like a little sweetness) and their butterfly tea (add the limes that they provide they add a lot!) Can’t rave enough. If you like Vietnamese you have to check this place out. Also the service was great and the owners are so kind and attentive! Support this gem!

We had the curry and stir-fried noodles, plus two appetizers – everything was incredibly delicious and the portions were huge! But what really stood out was the service: unbelievably kind, attentive and welcoming. Honestly some of the best service we’ve had in a long time. We even took some Flan to go because we just couldn’t resist. And it was super affordable. Incredible value for what you get. Would come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone!

food is very good, especially soup based like bún riêu, bún huế are their best. You should drop by and try out all their soup food.

First time here and planning to return asap. The portobello tenders were perfect cooked, nice and crispy and the dipping sauce was succulent. We had the porkless bbq vermicelli and the no fish cake vermicelli, both were very fresh and tasty. Servings are generous. The flan was the best vegan flan I’ve ever had. The iced Vietnamese coffee was robust and sweetened perfectly. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely took a place in my top favorite restaurants.

This is honestly one of the best vegan spots we’ve ever been to! We were in Anaheim for 4 days and ended up eating here twice because we loved it so much. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. it’s a family-owned small business, which makes it even better. It was our first time trying a variety of vegan Vietnamese dishes, and everything we had was delicious. We tried the Portobello Tenders (recommended by another customer) and they were so good. The Crispy Fried Chow Mein and House Fried Rice were also fantastic. Highly recommend checking this place out, even if you’re not vegan or vegetarian!

I ordered the egg rolls, it’s tasty! The crunchiness last to the last bite. It’s served with lettuce leaves and mints. I was full after 2 rolls. I can’t resist the smooth caramel like flan, it’s vegan. Try it for yourself.

Fantastic Vegan/Vegetarian Vietnamese food.

Brought my wife and one of my children. The environment was warm and friendly. It seemed like a family owned establishment. We ordered the Phò and General Tso Tofu and both were amazing. The broth had depth of flavor, the protein and noodles were fantastic. My family loved it and the hosts were attentive and considerate. I highly recommend dining here.

Was looking for a snack and a place to talk. A friend recommended the fried mushroom tenders, came to try them and the fried tofu and both were delicious. The customer service was top notch. They were very welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Every time I went to a new state, I would try out some different Vietnamese vegan restaurant. This place is among the best of them.

I was in Orange County only for a week and I came back here twice! Both the Bun Bo Hue and Hu Tieu Nam Vang are excellent options. Portion size feels just right, taste is balanced and not salty or greasy but still really flavorful and authentic.

I was greeted with a friendly genuine smile from the moment I walk in, to each other and water refill, until when I leave.

Call ahead if you have a big group because the place is small.

I’m going there again this evening.

One of the best vegan places I’ve ever been! The staff were incredibly friendly. All the dishes are vegan. We tried Vietnamese dishes that traditionally would have meat like bun bo hue, bo kho, and bun rieu, and they all captured the flavors perfectly and deliciously- you couldn’t tell they were substitutes. We also had flan and as someone who is incredibly sensitive to dairy, I appreciated the peace of mind this place offered, where I could order whatever I want. The flan was so smooth and light. I genuinely preferred the way they seasoned and prepared all these dishes more than other restaurants I’ve tried in the area!

Every dish tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen in Vietnam, just crafted entirely from plant-based ingredients.

The staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is chill—perfect for sharing a meal with friends or just enjoying a peaceful lunch alone.

Whether you’re vegan or not, this is a must-visit spot for anyone who wants to experience the taste of Vietnamese cuisine in a plant-based way. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit.
