Absolutely amazing food with a huge menu. If you go home hungry, it's your own fault. Highly recommend the curry!

Had Sashimi set, see how thick the sashimi is. It is not pricey for what you get. Will visit again!

I really enjoy this place every time I visit. Japanese cuisine is one of my favorites and would definitely recommend this place. I lived in Japan and the food and flavor is very authentic.
Place is too small but that’s how actually is in Japan.

I had the worst experience today.
I checked the receipt from the card company, and it was charged a lot of money. It turned out that I wrote down a 0 where I wrote the tip. The employee arbitrarily wrote down the numbers and took out the money. This is obviously theft.

Azusa is a hidden gem in Gardena.
My friends and I used to frequently dine at Azusa years ago and so glad to see the same chefs busy at making great dishes. The sashimi and broils fish combo was as good as I recall.

no frills, no fuss, just wonderfully cozy comfort food. i can’t tell you how many times i’ve come here, but my order’s nearly always the same: combo with tonkatsu and broiled mackerel, served with a bowl of rice and miso soup, and more than enough to last me two meals. hope this gem stays forever.

service can be on the slower side, and there are often lines, but it has never bothered me. parking lot in the back or street parking.

What a pleasant surprise. The sashimi combo with boiled black cod was SO good that we want to go back again. The porridge was also very tasty. Recommend #10.

There are a lot of customers so wait a bit. The place is small
Fried onions are amazing, the aroma and texture are great...
The conclusion is that you must come here again.

Food portion was large and very good for the price. Service was good as it was busy during lunch time.
