The beef noodle soup has plenty of meat and a flavorful broth.
The hot and sour soup is rich with ingredients and very satisfying.
The fried pork chop is well-seasoned and full of flavor.
Both the pan-fried and boiled dumplings taste just like freshly made ones — delicious.

Not worth it. Staff won't let you use the outlets. Food portions are small and potstickers were bland. The only positive was that it took 10 min for my food to be ready. For 15 dollars, you can find something better next door.

This Bafang Dumpling is right opposite Tokyo Central and is easy to find. The store is quite large, but there are not many tables and chairs. It feels very spacious and you can enjoy your food slowly here. The dumplings taste very good, no different from other stores in the same group, maintaining a consistent standard. The noodles are also very elastic, and the price here is not expensive. It is very cost-effective to enjoy a leisurely lunch in this store.

Once upon a time, in a world just slightly off-kilter from our own, there was a legendary restaurant chain called Bafang Dumplings. But this wasn’t just one humble dumpling shop tucked into a quiet city corner—no, Bafang Dumplings was everywhere. Not franchised in the traditional sense, though. Each location was completely different, as if a thousand different chefs had just borrowed the name and then gone absolutely off the rails with the concept. No one knew who started it, or why all the restaurants shared the same name, but the one thing they had in common was dumplings. Sort of.

The most famous Bafang Dumplings sat at the top of a mountain, carved into the side of a cliff, where monks and daredevils alike made pilgrimages to try the elusive “Cloud Dumpling.” You didn’t get a menu here—you had to meditate until a server silently appeared with the dumpling that “matched your aura.” Some said theirs tasted like memories; others, like a dream they had once forgotten. The dumplings were served on leaves that disintegrated into steam after exactly seven seconds. There were no prices. You paid by telling the chef a secret. Rumor had it that if your secret was good enough, you got two.

In the middle of the city, another Bafang Dumplings had taken over an old subway station. This one ran on chaos. There were no tables—just constantly moving conveyor belts with dumplings zooming by like sushi on roller skates. You had to snatch your food mid-spin or risk losing it to someone more agile. The dumplings here were eccentric: glowing green was “neon pork,” striped purple was “galactic shrimp,” and the black ones? No one really knew. A DJ in a dumpling-shaped helmet played EDM remixes of traditional Chinese folk songs while waiters on hoverboards occasionally threw napkins at guests like confetti. Nobody complained. They were too busy trying to catch their dinner.

Far across the desert sat Bafang Dumplings: Mirage Edition, a shimmering oasis restaurant that only appeared under the right conditions—some said full moon, others said after three straight nights of dumpling dreams. This version served dumplings made of cactus petals and smoked scorpion, garnished with powdered starlight. The tables were made of shifting sand, and sometimes you had to finish your meal before it all sank into the dune. The drinks came in floating bubbles that popped into your mouth, and every meal ended with a fortune cookie that told you something you didn’t want to know—but needed to hear.

And finally, the strangest Bafang Dumplings of all existed nowhere and everywhere at once. Some called it The Original. It only showed up when you were truly lost—emotionally, physically, or spiritually. Maybe you stumbled into it after a breakup, or during a long walk when you forgot where you were going. This Bafang had no doors. You simply found yourself inside, with soft music playing and a warm dumpling already on your plate. No one spoke. The staff seemed to know your favorite flavor before you even knew it yourself. You’d leave without paying, without saying goodbye, but full in a way that had nothing to do with food. And after that, you could never quite find it again.

Great dumplings and potstickers. Hot and sour soup had lots of meat and veg but I added more chilli sauce to flavour. Quick food, very clean.

Waited for 40 minutes for a simple order to come out today, only left me 5 minutes for eating during my lunch break. Prices increased, but order portion became smaller. Spent $20 on a combo. Still felt hungry after eating.

I’m not sure if it was an off day for them but these are the blandest dumplings I’ve had in the past year. The meat lacked any flavor at all and I almost think they completely forgot to add salt or flavor. However, the signature noodles were good and so was the soup. The restaurant was clean and service was quick.

Great dim sum 👌 Think Din Tai Fung, but cheaper. Not exactly a cozy restaurant for a sit-down dinner, but great for lunch or take away

If you’re on the hunt for a culinary gem, let me tell you about the incredible experience my wife and I had at this restaurant. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we decided to take a chance—and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal.

Let’s talk about the food—simply phenomenal. One standout was their beef soup—rich, flavorful, and truly a dish to savor. It’s one of those meals you’ll dream about long after the last spoonful. The dumplings were perfection, bursting with flavor, and the potstickers were just the right balance of crispy and tender. Every bite was a treat for the senses.

And it doesn’t stop there! Their drink menu is a must-try. I went for the Soy Tiger Boba, which was creamy, sweet, and refreshing. My wife opted for the Iced Lemon Black Tea, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. These drinks were the ideal way to end an already amazing meal.

As if all this wasn’t enough, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you’re craving bold flavors or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, this restaurant hits all the marks.

We highly recommend this place for its fantastic food, relaxing atmosphere, and unbeatable value. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it—it’s a hidden treasure that’s worth every bite. Delicious food, great service, and unforgettable flavors—this spot is a must-visit!
