Found a metal staple/wire in a laab to-go order. My boyfriend bit into it and was bleeding. We contacted the restaurant and were not offered any refund or resolution.

Very concerning food safety issue and poor handling of the situation. Will not be back.

Had a nice dinner here at Bowl Thai. You order your food upfront like Rubio’s, and they bring your food to your table. We had their crab fried rice, the texture and seasoning was good it wasn’t dry. We also enjoyed the shrimp pad thai, and they were very generous with the shrimp. Will definitely be back to try other delicious dishes.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants to visit if you live around Gardena. I’ve ordered their house special fried rice to go several times—it’s really good, although the portion size feels a bit small compared to the container. Still, I definitely plan to go back.
On my most recent visit, I ordered two house special fried rice (medium spicy) to go. However, both were made with no spice at all. When I called the restaurant, they asked me to bring one portion back so they could check it. I drove all the way there, only to be asked where the other fried rice was—I hadn’t brought it because they specifically told me to bring just one. In the end, they replaced only one order with the correct spice level instead of both.
So, if you’re placing a takeout order, make sure to double-check your food before leaving. Otherwise, you might have to go back to fix the order.

I ordered a steak salad which was so delicious answer filling. The flavor profile is on point. The is a meal and a half, lunch and dinner. The pat of rice as a addition is really nice. Beautifully presented, this my new go to place for Thai food 😋

Don’t even think twice, just come. It’s delicious, portions are big and filling, flavored to perfection and fall off the bone.

But always check the time cause they close between lunch and dinner!

I have ordered chicken pad thai. The size of the plate wasn't big enough to make a hungry person not even a half-full.

Taste was okay but not more than that. Some pieces of the chicken were raw.

Tabels and chairs as well as the forks and spoons look terribly poor.

The floor is ruined.

The young, slim, light-haired waitress was very professional- kind, knowledgeable and friendly, and I can say only best about her!

Overall, my experience was bad.

My Thai place have been the Dragoon Fly on Rolling Hills, for many years, now. However I happened to be in Torrance, and it was already around 8 p.m. and I didn't have enough time to make it to get to the Dragoon Fly, until its closing for the day, so I found this place online according to the reviews. Unfortunately, it seemed like a bad idea.

I was too hungry to even take pictures, first time eating here after I googled food near me. It sounded good so I gave it a try. It's a nice place, casual, the food was fantastic I had the chicken satay with the green papaya salad and sticky rice. A great portion of chicken, I wished they either gave more rice or more salad. Did not disappoint. Plus the peanut sauce with the chicken 👌. The salad was refreshing. I will go again.

Love that they do a tofu larb here, as I've only seen it with pork at other places. The revamped menu is great! Don't be fooled by the ordering at the counter, the food is delish :)
