Great first time experience. Came here with a group of friends celebrating an un-bachelor party. My friend reserved eight spots, and we were able to get whole track for two races (time qualifier/pole position race). The staff are very friendly and have great advice for safety and for those who are a little nervous or first-timers. The track is great, but you'll need a few laps to get used to. Once you do, you can get some hot laps in. We came at 4:30 for our 5pm reservation, checked in, and it was right on time before our first race. The total price for the group was $75 for the two races and included a $10 drink voucher. In which we used for drinks and some snacks and an order hot wings. It was pretty busy for a Saturday, but all the races ran pretty much on time. There was only one hiccup when one kids race was behind a bit. Enjoy!

This establishment seriously needs to overhaul its operations. We arrived for the Junior race with the expectation of checking in at 6 pm and starting promptly at 6:30 pm. However, we endured nearly a 2-hour wait before the first race commenced, and by 9 pm, we were still awaiting the second race. The lack of punctuality is baffling. Implementing a time slot booking system could easily prevent such disarray. Numerous negative reviews forewarned us about similar disappointments faced by other patrons who traveled here only to encounter race unavailability or overbooking. This experience has left me thoroughly disillusioned; enduring a 4-hour wait for a mere 10-minute race is unacceptable. It's been such a bad experience that I am warning everyone not to go.

Slow process but seems like kids are having fun. All the groups had to wait quite a while

On a recent Saturday morning, we bought a group of three races for 2 kids and purchased those online with credit card. When we arrived shortly after opening we were told it could take up to 90 minutes waiting... PER RACE. We couldn't spend 4 hours due to other commitments so we asked for a refund. They said we'd have to call corporate for that. On Monday. We called the corporate office the following Monday morning. We got through to voice mail only. 3 times on Monday. Twice on Tuesday. Left voice mails. No return call. The following Monday again, left two voice mails. No human answered our calls. No return calls. Unprofessional. Will not return. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Came here to do some indoor kart racing. Was told the wait was gonna be about 3 hours. Unfortunately, you can't leave because if they overhead page you and you're not there, they move on to the next group. Fortunately, even though they estimated it to be 3 hours, our wait was only 1.5 hours or so. There's plenty of seating areas. There's some right by the pool table and rooms so you can watch the track. There's even more lounging area and sofas by the restaurant side of things. We just sat there and chilled. We had some of their pizzas. It was ok. Nothing mind-blowing. Just regular event fare type pizza. Hit the spot, though, while we were sitting and waiting and talking. The go carts are now all electric. Back in the day, when they were gas powered, it stunk of carbon monoxide and just gave people headaches. But now, with these electric carts, all that stench is gone. They give you a one-time head and neck sleeve to wear under the helmet, which is cool. They give you a quick rundown of the flags. Lots of rules buy very safety conscious. Each race is about 13 laps. Which is about 6 minutes or so long. The go carts go pretty fast, and the pick-up on them is great. They turn pretty well. It's a great track with multiple different types of turns and straight aways. Your results are printed and also sent to you via email. It's ranked based on the fastest lap. It's a great place to hang out and drive some go carts. Being indoors, it doesn't matter how hot or cold it is outside. It's well air-conditioned inside. Doesn't smell like feet or BO. It's a great date bighy place or just hanging out. Yea it's on the expensive side of things. 2 races comes out to about $51. But it's definitely fun and worth it!!

Avoid at all costs. There are plenty other K1 locations in SoCal that don't operate as inefficiently as this mess. You can probably fly to another state and catch a race there sooner than you will here. 2hr wait generally means 4hrs.

What an utter disappointment this place was..... Came in with the whole family (5 of us) on a Tuesday, no holiday, dead center mid-day. You would think your odds are pretty good at that point. Well, after a 40 min drive, 10 mins line, we were told the wait would be over 2hrs because of a large group checking in. Now.... please don't give me wrong.... I fully understand giving the priority to a large group (more profitable) and have NO issue with that concept. However there HAS to be a way for people to reserve their spot and not be blind sighted like we were. The only way to make a reservation is if you are in a group of 8+. This system is absolutely flawed and will guarantee disappointing and frustrating a lot of potential customers. Will absolutely never give this place a second thought nor recommend to anyone else.

Tim ( A "MANAGER") might I add, is a disgusting human being! We had an altercation yesterday. (Side note: my son was told he would be in an adult cart: he reached all requirements) after waiting an hour and a half to ride, when we got up we were told he needed to be in a junior cart there was no problem with that, at first. My son proceeded to get into the junior cart but realized he did not fit in there. We went up to Tim and informed him he did not fit. He right away had a very dismissive and condescending attitude. He informed us the weight limit, which my son was under but he basically let us know there wasn't anything he could do. I started becoming frustrated because he was looking at us as if we were idiots and made absolute zero effort to help the situation. He told us "Get your money back or you can wait another hour and a half to get an adult cart." after we already waited an hour and a half!! He proceeded to ask me "why are you mad at me? because of his weight? it's not my fault he does not fit." What kind of ridiculous question is that?! Why would his weight be HIS problem? Either way his "weight" was not the problem! He was under the weight limit. So what was the point in bringing that up?! He was referring to a 10 year old little boy. Little does he know how much that affected him mentally. Even if there was nothing he could do for him (WHICH WOULD BE OKAY!!!) show some empathy. It's so simple to be a decent human being. That's all apart of being a MANAGER, he had 0 qualities of a leader. He has no business having that title. This was a little boy who has been looking forward to attend K1 Speed for WEEKS! All for this "manager" to make comments on his weight because he couldn't problem solve. I asked him "what is your name?" and he responded with "what is YOUR name?". His attitude was extremely disgusting and he ruined such a special experience. I will be escalating this situation because NOBODY should feel comfortable saying that to their customers.

We had family visiting from Wisconsin and decided to stop by K1 Speed for our 9 year old grand nephew as it was his birthday. Tim, the general manager, made the kids day extra special. After a week, our 9 year old still mentions this as one of his favorite things he's done in California.

My friends and I drove from different places across town in the middle of torrential downpour to come here, for them to tell us that there are no slots available for the rest of the night due to a party that had booked them all up. All while the website allowed us to check in and showed no signs of capacity cap.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT A CONSISTENT RACE. Many of the cars are busted--on the final race (of 3), my car randomly stopped three times. I would be going at full speed and then it would just power down and come to a complete stop. The third time, I wasn't even able to finish the lap because the car just wouldn't turn on again. And this wasn't even an isolated incident, as my friend's car also experienced issues related to sudden power cuts. The speaker system was also really bad in the facility. While it was loud, the employees words would be jumbled into a mess, making it really hard to hear when they call your name for the races. Overall, while it was fun when the karts were working, the faulty karts made the entire experience terrible. I would definitely recommend finding another K1 Speed.

I have been to multiple K1's and this one is horrible. It's a bunch of kids running it. Which is fine because somebody has to do the job. But the customer service is horrible. They didn't give any driving instructions to new people or what the flags mean. This places General liability insurance is just waiting for a claim. The helmets smelled disgusting and the bathroom was filthy. The drinks at the bar were good and the racing was fun.

Food was disgusting, I order nachos and they didn't even have nachos cheese, they put quesadillas cheese on it! Plus when you try to use the bathroom before a long drive home, they closed the bathrooms

Hire competent people (read this as not Gen Z mushroom tops that don't care about their jobs), run your business better. Some K1's are great, this one is horrible and a giant waste of time and money. 5 of us got off work early to attend drift night they say starts at 5, we were one of the first groups in line and they said it would be a two hour wait, they were running regular races until 7:30 and we left.

I've been coming here with a good group of buddies for over a year. As a whole, the staff are really good. Tonight the staff was fantastic. My buddies and I are all pretty competitive but we were a smaller group tonight so got matched up with some pretty terrible racers. They had to keep slowing things down because the other racers obviously don't know how to use a break and just go full force into walls. The staff recognized that we were stuck with bad racers for the first 2 races and let us have a really fun last race. Besides the staff, the karts can go fast, if everyone drives well. When you're bumping and crashing, they slow it down. The food isn't too bad (but the sketchers food out front is like an upgraded Costco food court for cheap) and they have beers for after the race too at the track. The facilities are always clean and they have plenty of parking. I've gone to a birthday party here and they did a good job. Fun spot!
