Gopchang. Daechang. Makchang. oh my god!! I love the smell of charcoal firešŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ I will definitely eat duck next time. There aren't many places that sell raw duck, but I finally found it.

This restaurant specializes in dishes made with fresh duck meat and gopchang (i.e. intestine). With high-quality ingredients and meticulous preparation, this restaurant truly exceeded all expectations.
The meat was tender and juicy, showcasing the natural flavors of fresh duck without any unpleasant odors.

The gopchang here is prepared with exceptional care, resulting in a clean, rich flavor that melts in your mouth. Grilled to perfection over charcoal, it has a delightful smoky aroma and a slightly crispy texture on the outside while staying juicy inside. As a Korean, I can say that the taste of this restaurant's gobchang is something most Koreans can't help but love.

This was my first time at Kko Kko and it was delicious!! Super flavorful and juicy! Kko Kko is THE spot to visit if you're looking to try some homemade, comforting, Korean food. With the classic Korean jams playing in the background, you and your group are bound to have a good time. Plus, the owner is amazing!! She always provides excellent service and is super friendly. Be sure to stop by for some good eats with HUGE portions and immaculate vibes!

What we ate:
- The Duck Combo: grilled duck, steamed egg, kimchi pancake, soybean paste soup, corn cheese, banchan (side dishes: potato, mushroom, rice cake, chives)
- Kimchi Fried Rice
- Spicy Cold Noodles

Now there is an amount of food and sensibility that you don't find in Koreatown. I found this place while I was thinking that there were no good tripe restaurants in Koreatown because all they had was tripe with sweet seasoning, but unlike other tripe restaurants in LA, the tripe here doesn't cover it up with too much sweet seasoning and preserves the original taste of the tripe. I really like itā¤ļø
The makchang is not tough and is very soft.
The steamed egg and soybean paste stew are served in very small portions at other restaurants these days, but they are served in very large portionsšŸ‘
If I want to eat tripe in the future, I will go here even though it is a bit far.šŸ‘šŸ‘

I’ve found a place with the kind of portions and vibe that you just can’t find in Koreatown anymore. I used to think there weren’t any good gopchang places left because everywhere I went, they’d drown it in sweet sauce. But this place really lets the natural flavor of the gopchang shine through without covering it up with overly sweet marinades. I love that!

The makchang isn’t tough either—it’s tender and has a perfect chewy texture. They also give you a huge portion of steamed egg and doenjang jjigae, while most other restaurants serve tiny portions these days.

Even though it’s a bit farther away, I’ll definitely be coming here whenever I crave gopchang!

I am definitely šŸ’Æ coming back here with more people, for the food, but also because the owner is so great. She brings the vibe to the restaurant. Great hospitality from her and the team.

Let's talk about the delicious food.
This is not an ALL YOU CAN EAT spot, which means it is higher quality meat. Nothing but the best. And you will be able to taste it in every bite.

The intestines was absolutely amazing. It went so well with their garlic sauce. I asked for more and the owner gave me a instlof it :)
Towards the end, you have to get thr kimchi fried rice. Make sure to save some gopchang and Daechang to mix it in with

It’s different than common KBBQ chain, this one is a gem! Family owned, cozy vibes KBBQ that offered duck & intestines making it stands out than the rest!

The owner is so friendly and cooked for us, very convenient so we don’t have to cooked. We ordered duck combo- the banchan is so fresh ( kimchi pancake, soy bean paste soup, steamed egg..) the duck is so fresh! The owner grilled for us with garlic, mushrooms, chives… very flavorful. I can taste it is high quality right away. At the end there’s kimchi fried rice which is a good combination

I would definitely go to this one again!

Parking: It’s a small parking lot but it’s right next to the restaurant

A hidden gem kbbq in Gardena. We had the duck set (about $149) which fed about 2-3 people. It comes with side dishes. The price is pretty high but their meat quality is great. It’s one of the most tender grilled duck I’ve had. They do all the grilling for you and finish with fried rice.

What a hidden gem - literally! This spot has quality you can definitely taste. I always find myself flocking towards non-ayce korean bbq type spots, but what really sets this place from other spots in the Southbay area are the protein options. Now hear me out .. grilled duck and spicy duck combos! I was a skeptic at first, but when I tried the duck - it was so good! I'm so used to have duck the Chinese way, but trying it grilled was a game changer! If you're feeling a little bit adventurous, they have abomasum, large intestine, small intestine, beef heart, and beef stomach. Our group decided to try each one. If you're sensitive to textures, you can probably skip those options. We also decided to try the premium beef brisket. So delicious! I love how the meats come with chives and mushrooms. I really enjoyed having that option because I love king oyster mushrooms. Save a little room for the end because the kimchi fried rice is quite the sight! I'm a true believer in making sure nothing goes to waste. The owner/manager mixed everything we had not eaten into the kimchi fried rice then topped it with cheese and torched it. It was so delicious! Our service was outstanding. It was quick and friendly. It was definitely one of the better korean bbq spots in this area.

The service was amazing! We arrived 30min before closing because of when we landed in LA, but they still sat us and gave us full service. They grilled and cut everything for us. They also hand you pieces with recommendations on how to best enjoy each type of meat. They didn't rush us and even stayed open a little past closing for us. The meat was very good with big portions and price is very resonable!! Definitely will be back!!
