Galbi, Corn Cheese, and Soju just make the perfect night out ! Kko Kko Yang is literally the hidden gem for amazing Korean BBQ in Gardena! I can't believe I only found out about this place recently and I've lived in Southbay LA all my life! We got their brisket and galbi which was so tender and delicious. They have so many good sides such as their steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi pancake, and banchan, and we even ordered some refreshing cold noodles on the side. My favorite part was pouring the corn cheese in the galbi and letting it sizzle on the grill! This place is known for their gopchang, aka intestines, but they have so many unique cuts of meat here to grill! We tried their gopchang, daechang, abomasum and beef heart as well, and the staff really knows how to cook these cuts! Nothing was overly chewy and it's hard to find places that can do this right. Definitely recommend checking them out the next time you want a delicious and different KBBQ experience!

Unique Korean BBQ place specializing in intestines. We came here a bit later on a Saturday night for dinner. They have a private lot and there was no issue with parking and there were only 2 other parties when we were there. It's not AYCE, but it's more than enough. You order based on the item combinations. We got the: 1) Medium Combo: -This is $73.99 and you can choose 3 of the items listed on the combo menu. -We got the large intestines, beef stomach, and abomasum (4th stomach). - Having the abomasum was something that I don't think anyone in our party had and not something I usually see offered on the menu, so we had to get it! -The meats are also grilled with garlic, onion, and potatoes. -The combo also comes with corn cheese, a steamed egg, and a soybean paste stew and you get a side of macaroni salad, pickled radish, beansprouts, shredded daikon radish, and cucumber kimchi. -It does get super oily so the grill is tilted by the waiter for us to collect it. -The "veggies" that came with our meats absorbed the meaty sauces and oils, very delicious. -The meats were great and I like letting them get super crispy and charred. I liked it with the more tart sour sauce at our table and it does get heavy, so you may want to look into getting a bowl of rice too. I don't mind going back again one day so more of my friends can try as well!

The service was amazing! We arrived 30min before closing because of when we landed in LA, but they still sat us and gave us full service. They grilled and cut everything for us. They also hand you pieces with recommendations on how to best enjoy each type of meat. They didn't rush us and even stayed open a little past closing for us. The meat was very good with big portions and price is very resonable!! Definitely will be back!!

The meal was great, especially the medium combo that came with a generous assortment of side dishes. A must-try are the small and large intestines, offering a unique and delicious experience. The owner was cool and even cooked for us which made the visit awesome!

We had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We tried the intestine combo, and it was prepared wonderfully. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Definitely a spot worth visiting for both great service and tasty dishes!

You would never guess this place was here but apparently, this shop has been in business for 5 years and it feels like stepping into someone's home. The place is very cozy and best for smaller parties, probably no more than 4-5 as the tables are small. The prices are great for the quality offered and the service was prompt. The parking lot can be a bit sketchy at night so best to park near the entrance of the lot. The ambience is a bit weird if you're expecting top 40 hits, it's more like someone is playing youtube music and the ads will periodically come up and you might wonder whats happening but hey, that's part of the charm. We got the set with a choice of 3 meats so small intestine, large intestine, and abomasum. All were great and better than expected. This is definitely a place that is slept on and best kept a secret if you're into intestines.

Even though I grew up in Korea, I never had gopchang, makchang or daechang. My Dad didn't even eat pork or chicken, so we didn't really have adventurous dining experiences. Now that I'm an adult, I've dabbled in the intestine menu here and there, and although I'm not a connoisseur, I really enjoyed our bbq at KkoKko. It was very tasty, and I can see why some people are big fans. We ordered the med combo which is PLENTY for two people, and the bbq came out cooked once already. Then you cook it longer on the tabletop grill until it gets really crispy, and it is so good! The service here is nice, there was a young gentleman and the owner working all the tables. The restaurant is on the smaller side, very casual, very old-school vibe. None of the fancy modern decor. They fried rice for us at the end too. They have beer and soju, of course. We tried the hallasan soju, which is kinda hard to find elsewhere.I would recommend this place, even if you're not a fan of intestines. Give it a try, you might love it. They do have other beef and pork items too. Enjoy!
