Really good food and service. Gets a bit smoky when it's crowded but otherwise it's a great experience!

I had not been to Moon BBQ in almost 5 years. The menu had changed a bit as well as the prices. We tried beef belly, chicken gizzards, spicy pork belly, marinated short ribs, large intestine and enjoyed the steamed egg, kimchi noodles and tofu soup. Everything seemed fine until we got home. We were hit with bad tummies. I don't think we will return.

Moon BBQ in Gardena is such a nice, cozy AYCE Korean BBQ spot! We booked here because they actually take reservations for groups over 5 people — most Korean BBQ places only accept reservations for 10+, so this was a huge plus.

The food was delicious and the servers were friendly and attentive. I especially loved their beef tongue and steamed egg, and the sirloin was really good too. Definitely worth the money!

Parking in the mall can get a little tight at times, but there’s always street parking nearby. Highly recommended!

Went to Moon Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat with friends in the evening, and everything was great even the price! The food was delicious and not too salty. The meat quality was good, especially the pork belly — nicely thick and tasty. The steamed egg was also super good, soft and flavorful. Highly recommended😍

Service was fast and friendly! Decent variety of cuts in the AYCE. I'm a tall guy, and had no issue eating plenty in the time we were there.

Only issue was there was a piece of metal wire - perhaps from wire mesh cleaning - in/on the grill or meat at one point. Actual safety hazard. The server was very apologetic about it, but there wasn't any attempt to comp or otherwise smooth the situation over. I found that a bit odd, but I wasn't going to make a racket since it's a busy Friday night.

We're locals, so maybe I'll try and go in during a slower time and talk with the manager.

Great and fast service, awesome sides, great cuts of meat. I especially love the grill they use that lets you cook the meat fast and crispy. My favorite kbbq spot by far. Really love the atmosphere. Very authentic.

After coming here for many years, the meats are still always great quality and the service is top notch! My favorite cuts are the beef tongue, beef belly, and marinated short rib. The pork belly is also pretty tasty. Their sides are delicious and complement the meats very well.

This is the worst AYCE Korean BBQ I’ve ever experienced. Their stingy cost-cutting tactics ruin the dining experience, limiting how often you can order the same item, slicing the meat so thin that it burns almost instantly, and doing everything possible to avoid letting customers get their money’s worth.

The service was just as bad. Servers ignore requests, making it a struggle to order more food. They rush you to pay before your two-hour time limit is even up, as if they’re eager to push customers out rather than provide a decent dining experience.

At $35 per person, the quality and service don’t come close to justifying the price. Instead of wasting money here, I’d rather spend an extra $10 at Gen KBBQ, where the meat is high quality, the service is smooth, and I can actually enjoy my meal without chasing down staff or sitting in an uncomfortable, cramped space.

This is a super lowkey Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat spot — definitely a small hole-in-the-wall vibe with its own tiny lot, but there’s plenty of free street parking nearby. It’s not the most upscale place, but it has a lot of character. The boss and staff are incredibly sweet and attentive, which makes the experience even better.

I usually start with the brisket, add the soybean soup and steamed egg, get free refills on the banchan (side dishes), try a few different meats, and then finish with the scorched rice to cleanse my palate.

The only downside? The air circulation here isn’t great, so you’ll definitely leave smelling like BBQ and feeling a little oily from the smoke — but honestly, that’s part of the charm for some people.

It's a nice cozy place! The menu is easy to understand! They are helpful, attentive! It was our first time at this location. We were sat right down, no wait at the evening time we went. We were full when we left. We'd return if we were in the area. The meat was tenderrrr

The protein here is really tasty compared to other spots. It’s also air-conditioned, which is a nice bonus. The portions aren’t huge like at Gen, so you might find yourself ordering more dishes to fill up. But the upside to smaller portions is definitely the higher quality. Maybe there’s some psychology at play too—since you get less food, you end up savoring it more and spending more time enjoying your meal lol.
