I didn't bother to take pictures. The folks working here don't greet or smile. A welcome would be nice or acknowledge the guest. The toppings aren't visible and person serving isn't helpful offering what's available. Looks like then it was the spot to visit based on pictures. Unfortunately the ice cream was bland. The wafers were dry and should be covered for freshness. You're off better at yogurtland for the price. Sorry for the negative review just being honest. 6pm/9-28
After a long day, I needed to cool down, so I called in an order and picked it up in person at Negative 8. The process was quick and easy. The Fruity Pebbles ice cream hit the spot and honestly ended up being the highlight of my day. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors.
Good food, good service.
Every time I come to visit Cali this is always a must for me! I love the service here, the ice cream, and the atmosphere. It’s a cute little spot. Strawberry rolled up ice cream with strawberries, banana and peanuts! Best thing ever!!!! Every time I’m in town I’m here!

We visited -8℃ Ice Cream in Gardena (strip mall- Tokyo Central). They serve rolled ice cream with lots of flavors and toppings. We chose the Thai iced tea base and added our own toppings—the ice cream was absolutely delicious
Helpful Tips:
• Cash-only for small orders – no credit cards under a certain amount, so bring cash .
• Price: $10 for a bowl—yes for the novelty and great taste. But expensive!
• Atmosphere: Slightly psychedelic EL wire décor and friendly, hardworking staff—families and teens were clearly enjoying the vibe.
Bottom line: A flavorful, fun rolled ice cream spot. Unique. Pick your flavor, choose toppings, bring cash, and enjoy!
Had a terrible experience at -8 Degrees Ice Cream. We waited well over 40 minutes for our order that they never got right after 2 attempts and showing receipt. The customer service was shockingly poor—rude, unprofessional, and completely unwelcoming. The worst part was dealing with a male employee with a neck tattoo who clearly did not want to be there—you could see it all over his face. I understand mistakes happen—we’re all human—but the least you can do is show some sort of apology or courtesy. Instead, he was rude and spoke under his breath to coworkers. If your staff can’t handle working in customer service with a basic level of respect, this may not be the right job for them. I will never return and do not recommend this place to anyone.
This is my favorite rolled ice cream place. When it is a little busy, it takes a little longer because there is only usually 2-3 people working at a time, so it's understandable. The ice cream is $8.50 per cup, but it is very filling, and it is free toppings. Most other places charge per topping, so it is nice that they don't, and they have a lot of options. The ice cream and always mixed very well and very creamy. I make sure I come back here as often as I can. It is so good!
Delicious ice cream.

the vibe inside is kind of sad, low lighting and no music. but the free toppings is cool and the ice cream was good. $8 for one size is obviously silly but all the rolled ice cream places do that so whateves.

Negative 8C -8C in CaliforniaNot sure how to say this. I do not read all signs in a business because if we did we would be there for a while especially in a desert place. Long story short is if you do not use cash then you need to spend $20 to use a card? I get trying to screw Uncle Sam but sending business out the door because I am alone and have no need for $20 of deserts is baffling to me as a fellow business owner.I hope the owner reads this and understands some people are not locals that know your rules. Just a FYI, I travel the world for business and I have NEVER seen a minimum over $5 to use a card.I hate leaving a negative review but after my drive and wait in line to be told NO, it caused me to take time and leave this.

Tried this place on a whim. Glad we did. Decorations are a bit weird and not very comfortable. The staff was nice and the Ice Cream Rolls were very good. They need some music or something in that place though. Again, the desserts were very good.

Ice cream roll spot in the Tokyo Central plaza. Came here for dessert after dinner at Sweet Rice nearby. Note there’s a credit card minimum of $20. Otherwise cash is accepted. Ice creams with unlimited toppings are $9 each so we opted for extra Oreos for one of the ice creams, which was the equivalent of two extra Oreos. I got the matcha flavor while my friend got the Oreo flavor. The taste wasn’t as sweet as I was hoping for and the wafers were stale. I did appreciate that they have fruits available as an option. Plenty of seating available inside. Free parking available in the parking lot.
