The service and food were outstanding. The only minus was they don't serve chicken but the non-meat eaters had their fill with the veggies. The broths were tasty. The Waygu was very good.

Best to go there after fasting for several days...........even better deal for those on Medicare!! Recommend going with the Tonkotsu bone broth and pork belly/shoulder slices plus an ice cold mega mug of Sapporo........always outstanding service by Riley, Kenda and Cody.

A very solid choice for a fun dinner with a few friends. Been there several times and the food, service, and experience are consistently good. Just by nature of the meal format, it's always a little hectic and crazy but in a good way. The meat and vegetable options are a good variety and can make for a really healthy meal if you want. Or, not so much. If I had one reservation, it would be the room layout and seating. I get it, It really maximizes the space they have, but you can feel like you need a shoehorn to get in and out of some of the seats, especially if you are next to the windows.. Overall, it's a really good place and I will be back again.

My only complaint is that when you call during business hours, no one picks up, and the message asks to call back during business hours. Other than that, I love this place. My favorite is sitting on the counter, so I can get my own pot.

Man, this joint is the real deal!! I personally love the tonkotsu broth with pork slices and ramen noodles, all washed down with a mega size mug of ice cold Sapporo draft!! Plus I got one foot in the grave so I get a senior discount!! Service is always fantastic, tonight Gary, Daphne and Cody were on their A game as it got full fast. Whether you're with family, friends, date or solo, Shinsengumi Shabu is truly the best value restaurant in LA!!

Terrible wait time service. They let people in without being on the wait list.

Can't ask for anything more, this joint is the best deal in town!! Awesome service by Yunosuke, Riley and Kenda to mark my turning Medicare and receiving a senior discount on my Shabu. Stayed with pork and the Tonkotsu broth, delicious plus two mega mugs of ice cold Sapporo and heaven is on standby!!

Other than flying to Japan, this Gardena joint provides LA with the best Shabu at the most reasonable price with outstanding meat quality and energetic, family friendly service, tonight courtesy of Riley. It's even cheaper for seniors over 65 so bring grandparents next time!

Great all you can eat place! The meat is good quality. The sauces and dressings are very tasty. Vegetables are fresh. I don't care for the lobster roll or meatball, but that could be me. No need to waste appetite on that when the main dish is so good and you can add several types of noodles - egg noodle, udon or glass noodle. Make sure to make a reservation as it does get crowded.

I absolutely love Shabu Shabu and I think Shin-Sen-Gumi has a good set up. I still prefer Momo's Paradise but this place is great as well. The service is slower and not as attentive, so you have to make sure you flag down workers as soon as you see them, but they're all very nice and the food is delicious!

The potion size is my favorite party. It is ayce but some other places brings out way too much food. I like a little bit at a time. The meats are good and yhe brother are good too.

The food is awesome! They offer a senior discount. Great for large groups. Great for families with children. There are many options for seating. Hot Pot at its best! We always get the spicy soup not to spicy. Creating a balanced meal is a snap vegetable plate, seafood and meats are high quality, and they even have wagu beef. Make sure to try the pepper paste. The service staff are always on point. They will help you order and are happy and pleasant. They will come by and offer service many times just right. They have many special offers throughout the month. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant! You’ll be glad you did.

Great shabu shabu place! It took me 30 mins waiting before getting seated. Food options are ok, and I prefer Mo Mo Paradise if it is shabu shabu. But it is just the face that they are always full, so I tried this one first time. Soup base is good. Overall,
