I craved and visited Spoon House in 10 years! They are still in the business, and the pasta is delicious as usual!!!!

The business is very good, the seafood noodle soup is very bland, the mentaiko pasta is very dry, and the bacon pasta is not a favorite for children, but I personally don’t like it very much.

This is a Los Angeles gem. Excellent quality, friendly staff, a creative menu with the unlikely fusion of japanese and italian flavors. It is no wonder they have been in business for decades.
Generous portions, and prices that will make you think it's the early 2000s again.
My personal favorite is the wasabi squid spaghetti! and be sure to get their famous $1 salad!

If you like fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine, this is the perfect place to visit. On the menu they have a variety of delicious meat and seafood dishes to die for including Mexican spaghetti. Pasta cooked al dente just perfect! The one dollar salad is just great!
Parking: I never had any issues when using the parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility and regular parking just few steps to get to the restaurant.

This place has been serving up pasta with that Japanese twist for decades. All the pasta varieties are great. Btw we ordered the "seafood porridge" for the first time and it was NOT what we expected. More of a soup than porridge but that's not a bad thing. Very generous portion so the porridge/soup was shared

Japanese style Italian noodle. It is a nice fusion. Great taste. Noodle is little hard at the time we went. Not sure if there were too many people. Not enough time to cook the noodle thoughoutly. We arrived at 1:15pm on Sat and waited more than 30 mins. It is a rather small place so expect to have long wait time.

I've been going to Spoon House for over 40 yrs. The food is the same great food they have always served. The noodles are made to order and your plates come steaming hot!!!! The prices have gone up drastically from the past as most places have. The portions for the price do not compare to other Italian places you can go to. But the food is worth visiting just not as often as i would if i price/ portions compared to other Italian eateries.

The Bottarga dish was a rip off. All I got was a plate of noodles with very minimal toppings! I paid $20 for a plate of plain noodles that I could have made at home for $1

Very cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. I know and been eating here since 2011 till now. The food here is exceptionally good and the flavor is still the same after that long. My favorite is the Japanese style cod roe with uni. I don't think I have ever found spaghetti like this anywhere else.
