I visited Gue Jip Restaurant recently and had a decent experience overall. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was polite and attentive. The food was flavorful, especially the traditional Korean dishes, though a few items felt a bit underseasoned or not as fresh as expected.
Service was a bit slow during peak hours, but nothing too frustrating. Prices were fair for the portion sizes. I’d consider coming back to try other menu items. It seems like a spot that could grow on you with the right picks.
Raised the price but the quality is so so.
I have so satisfied with menus every time I visited this place. The workers were so kind and refilled side dishes if we needed. There are so many healthy Korean menus.
The stir-fried squid here is fantastic.
The mung bean pancake was delicious and the food I ordered was neat and good.

My 1st time at a Korean restaurant. I’m Mexican and honestly this was one of the best spots I have been too. 10/10 recommend!

First time eating at The Place though I ordered from them before. Super delicious! Lots of menu items I’ve never seen before at Korean spots.
Not the old 그집 anymore.

This was our absolute favorite Korean restaurant in town. We used to eat here weekly because my kids loved the Kimbaps and well everything else on the menu.A few months ago we noticed the decor changed and the flavors had changed. Turned out it was a change in ownership. The last couple of times we were fairly disappointed but thought it might take some time to adjust. Last night we ordered some staple dishes and some as shocked when we opened them at home.Kimbap - it was far smaller than it used to be (see side by side comparison photo). So much so that it got tossed around and I rearranged them for the photo. Also it was COLD. Taken out of the fridge. Kids said it was too cold and hard and wouldn’t eat them.Ttukbbokki - it was so pale I thought they forgot to add an ingredient. The spice was there a wee bit but it wasn’t the authentic red pepper paste flavor. Half of it was cabbage. The mandoo tasted like frozen mandoo. It was so disappointing. It’s really sad to see our favorite go down the drain like this. Out of nostalgia we’ll probably try it out again in a few months and I hope we are pleasantly surprised.

Delicious side dishes. Yellow Covina plate was big sized 3 fishes. But fish stew was not that great.

Probably the most authentic Korean food restaurant in Gardena with the most diversity of foods.

We went there today for lunch.Omg.. this place is absolute must try!I am born and raised in Korea so I know the difference between just regular Korean restaurants to an authentic home-made restaurant. This place rocks!Just like the taste I remember how my grandma used to make!!I already see so many Korean people here. They must know like I do!!
