Exceptional food quality and service. Alcohol beverages were at a higher price point but a good affordable price for high quality and fresh fish. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: They even offer a kids menu!

First time visiting and we had the omakase. The staff welcomed us like they have known us for years as soon as we walked in. The service throughout the omakase was amazing and the sushi was the best weve had since visiting Japan! Toshisan is passionate and friendly. Cant wait to go back asap! I wish I could keep Toshi Sushi to myself and not tell anyone about it, but they deserve to be successful so I chose to write this review. We are incredibly lucky to have sushi of this quality, at s reasonable price, and in Gardena no less. If you're reading this, dont think about it any longer and just go.

Toshi Sushi delivers a fresh sushi grade seafood experience to remember. The staff and team in this small, unassuming place are so approachable and helpful.Absolutely loved the selection of classic sushi while incorporating a wide selection of rotating specials like fresh trout from Mount Fuji.Ordered the standard omakase but enjoyed the food enough to also order more to take home.

I usually don't post reviews but this place was so yummy i just had to. Me and my dad came here wanting to try it out and we were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and high quality the sushi was. Every piece was melt in your mouth and we left very satisfied with our meal. Our server was also very attentive and consistently checking up on us. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes!!

I was really hoping this place would be my new go to, unfortunately I'll have to keep looking. It was'nt bad, very mediocre. The prices are too high for what you get. I ordered two salmon skin handrolls, tempura, calif roll (which was constructed poorly). Thr tempura was too greasy. Just ehhh.Sorry

I had the sushi and sashimi combo and it was very delicious. Truly authentic Japanese restaurant with great service.

You can't judge a book by its cover, and you certain can't judge a sushi joint by the storefront. Located in a tiny shopping area (just three vendors) adjacent to a tire shop, it qualifies as a hole in the wall. The interior decor doesn't look too fancy either, but we're not here to admire the wall art.I was immediately greeted by the server, and she welcomed me to a table with a choice between water and hot tea. On a cold morning, the hot tea was fragrant and warmed my body.My benchmark for sushi restaurant is the chirashi, since this is almost always offered at any establishment. They have two variations--the standard chirashi and the special chirashi. I inquired the server regarding the difference between the two options, and she explained that the special has better fish and more items. I opted to go upscale. The presentation was impressive, but the quality of the sashimi was instantly apparent with my first bite. Each fish offered its unique secret, and the variety kept my taste buds dancing with joy. The salmon was fatty and pink, and it tasted like butter. Each roe released its private ocean in my mouth, and even the pickled vegetables contributed to the feast of flavors. The wasabi was not particularly strong, so I generously applied to each piece of fish before putting it in my mouth. The rice was warm and sweet, with a hint of vinegar for good measure.I can't remember a better chirashi experience, at least not in the past twelve months. I am so glad that the adjacent ramen place was closed on Mondays. Otherwise I would have missed out on this unforgettable lunch experience.

Went to Toshi Sushi last night for dinner and it was amazing. Service was great, and all of our order was as well. Started with edamame then had an eel avocado roll, spicy tuna roll, albacore, freshwater eel and bluefin tuna sushi all amazing. Then we finished with the tempura green tea ice cream. Perfect dinner from start to finish. The restaurant and restroom were also very clean. I've tried numerous sushi restaurants in the South Bay and is now at the top of the list.

Just stopped by Toshi Sushi tonight and this might possibly be the best sushi i have ever had in my life. At first we thought the prices were a little higher than we expected but after we tasted the quality of fish, we thought it was very reasonably priced.Server was very friendly and chef even came to the table to say hi and introduce himself. I can't wait to go back!
