Rustic at Francis Ford Coppola Winery

Great service, perfect place to have a conversation without yelling, food and wine pairing menus was on point!!

Our visit was a mixed bag of good, meh and bad. The setting is beautiful and our initial reaction was "wow'! Once we were seated everything took a bit longer than it should have. The little Italian donuts were delicious! our appetizers were very good. But it took longer for drinks to arrive than they should have. Once we ordered lunch we waited. And we waited. We ordered glasses of wine for the lunch course and they brought the glasses and said we'll be right back with the wine. Then we waited. Finally, when they started bringing our food the waitress said "Oh, your wine" and we finally got our wine. Two people really enjoyed their meals. My salad was "fine". The other 3 all thought their meals sat under heat lamps too long and one said her Linguini with shrimp tasted like chicken instead of shrimp. We waited so long for our food we had to rush through it. The final kicker was I had to chase down the check so we could make our next tasting! We spent 4 days in Sonoma and this was our only real disappointment. P.S. we did allocate a full 2 hours for lunch and we had to rush out.

Menu has changed drastically. Barely anything on the menu now from when i was here last year. My favorote lamb dish is gone. Had the linguini with shrimp, its ok. It was raining that day, outdoor seating was closed. Servoce was kind of slow. I had to ask for everything. Parmesan, bread, balsamic. Nothing was offered. I come here every year and bring some new people for the good food they used to offer. Sadly, wont be back.

We had a great waiter, ambience-we ate outside sine it was nice with the sun, view of the vineyards, and allowed us to pick fruits in the culinary garden (since it was coming into fall season and they would gave fallen off anyhow.). What a nice experience!

We've been to Rustic numerous times. For whatever reason I had not tried the risotto there before. It was made with an autumn theme with parsnips and squash and herbs. It was hands down the best risotto I've ever had. The service was absolutely perfect and of course the setting is sublime.

Excellent service by Ronaldo beautiful seating arrangement with my support dog and my daughter. It was her birthday so she got a free dessert we were attended to like royalty.

Did tasting before meal and experience was wonderful and relaxing. Lunch was great as we dined overlooking the beautiful vineyards. Paradise all the way. Great experience.

Phenomenal experience at Rustic. What a location, but the staff, especially Nathan, were so welcoming and were great fun. Would highly recommend the meatballs, and do try some wines like the Eleanor by the glass. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Food options were outstanding and quality of food ordered was exceptional. Of course, eating outside provided terrific views and ambiance. Service was what you would expect from such an establishment—top notch! Thank you.
