We're Francis Ford Coppola Wine Club members, so our tasting was free. We were familiar with a couple of the wines and got to try different ones. Enjoyed the wine--Pinot Noir was my favorite. Great service and we learned the history behind the name. Next visit, we'll try the restaurant.
This place was smaller than others but great nonetheless. The young lady who conducted our tasting was full of knowledge and you could see how much she enjoyed her job. It was more of a personal opinion and suggestions in how she presented it, yet all very professionally. Wines were great, never rushed nor pressured, great experience, would go back again.

Had a great tasting with our host D Daniels. He was gregarious and fun but also had good information. We particularly liked the pinot but are bringing home a bottle of chardonnay as well. All the staff were friendly and the tasting room was nice as well. Nice little niches to sit down out front. Give Virginia Dare, one of coppolas lesser known wineries a try!
