Our group enjoyed the biodynamic tractor ride. Darryl was our driver/ host and he was so knowledgeable, he made it very entertaining. We throughly enjoyed every wine in the tasting. Out of our trip including 6 wineries we all picked Benziger the best for presentation, experience, and tasting. We will definitely be back!

We came for a tasting on a Wednesday and had an excellent time. One note - you can book tastings on Wednesdays and Tuesdays if you book an appointment on their website, it’s a more intimate setting at the bar. We were the only ones for our appointment window and had an excellent conversation during our tasting. It was very refreshing to have a winery just discuss wines, and not focus solely (or even at all) on their wine club. This made for a fantastic time. I would highly recommend stopping this when you visit Sonoma.

We had the best time today! Dave was our tour guide. He was incredible, so knowledgeable, AND WITTY!! It was a beautiful day, with delicious wine, and wonderful company. Dave was so fun! Also he had a new recruit Macey who was friendly. Thanks for the amazing tour, we hope to be back!

I would highly recommend the Biodynamic Tractor Tram Tour. Be sure to show up on time because they do start on time and it does get chilly, our tour guide David provided us with some blankets. We started off the tour going up the vineyard with such a great view and lots of information about the vineyard, biodynamics and everything they do on the area. Our tour guide David was very knowledgeable and engaging. I felt like I learned a lot, then we went down and saw where everything is produced and where the caves are. We ended the tour and went straight to the tasting room where we had 4 pours and luckily got an additional Rose pour. Their wines are so good, we all liked the rose, and the Chardonnay that was a little different but definitely enjoyable.

What an awesome winery! The tractor tasting tour was terrific and informative! Learned so much about how they make their wine. Very memorable experience!

Such a great experience! We took the tractor ride and the guide was very nice. He was also very accommodating with our young child. The wines here are top notch. And if you are at all freaked out by them having an insecterary, it's not as creepy as it sounds. It's a grouping of a bunch of plants bunched together in a couple acres in the middle of the winery to attract pollinators and positive bugs to fend off ones that might hurt the wine vines. We even got lucky and met the winemaker in person. Such a lovely visit to a fully bio dynamic winery.

Tasting and electric vehicle tram ride this morning with "Michael" as our guide. Literally, could not have been any better than what we experienced. In addition, witnessed some harvested grapes going thru the machinery which destems and sorts them. An added bonus. Grounds are beautiful and scenic. Thank you Benzinger family for a real treasure of a winery.

I had the pleasure to visit the Benziger winery as part of an event organised by Ormco Dental. The staff was exemplar. The wine tasting and the food provided was succulent. Thanks to everyone at Benziger’s and to Jill for the extra wine cup !

Unfortunately poor service and poor wine. We were visiting different wineries for tastings and stopped by Benziger Family Winery. It’s a very beautiful estate, but the staff are curt, unfriendly, and answer any questions robotically with no thought to the answers.

The wine itself is poor quality for the region. Overly sweet with a strong bitter aftertaste. I wouldn’t trust other reviews- the family next to us loved the wine and bought over $300 worth, but we overheard them asking how much caffeine was in the wine from the tea (tea flavor notes).

Really not worth the time stopping here.

We were a family of 6 (parents, grandparents, teenagers) and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of this winery. The grounds were beautiful. We took the tractor tour and learned a lot about their growing methods and it ended with a wine tasting. Our guide, David, did a great job of sharing the history and the workings of the winery. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend this as a stop on your next visit to wine country.
