The BEST pinots! Awesome staff, super kind and knowledgeable. Insane library and portfolio of pinots. Great place to geek out and learn a lot in an unpretentious setting!

My husband and I appreciate all the effort you went through to prepare “our special table”, greet us and be so warm, inviting and thoughtful, present such unique wine pairings … just a wonderful way to spend time at Talisman. Frankly, aside from the wine, this is one of the reasons we remain members … there are any number of other fabulous wineries, but the personal connection and relationships make a difference and are what we look for and want in a winery.

We had a great tasting at Talisman Winery on Wednesday. As someone who regularly drinks Pinot Noir (and has made my own Pinot Noir), I always enjoy visiting Talisman and tasting their Pinot Noirs. They have been making great Pinots for decades. They poured us four different Pinots and I particularly loved the 2018 Adastra Pinot Noir. Marta is a great host! I strongly recommend visiting them!

Truly remarkable Pinots. Enough said. We are semi-local, so we know our Pinots. Our hostess was one of the owners, so super knowledgeable about the wines and the winemaking process.Tastings were $45 for at least 5 tastes. Fees waived with 3 bottles purchased.

Wow. Hands down the best Pinot Noir I’ve had. Marta hosted our group of four and was absolutely phenomenal at educating and entertaining us while pouring taste after taste of the finest expressions of terroir and expert winemaking. Bravo!! Thank you Marta!

The wines are always stunners. As a purveyor of fine wines I can never decide which wine is my favorite. A must visit for Pinot enthusiasts.

Our first time visit to the tasting room at Talisman Wines was exquisite indeed. Grayson and John were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I were already big fans of Talisman Wines but today's supreme wine-tasting experience went beyond my best expectations. Do put a visit to Talisman Wines on your list for a top wine-tasting and viticultural learning experience.

Small production of pinot noir from a wide variety of vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. You will definitely find several that you will like. They also have several vintages availability which is unusual and a real treat. Located in a cute house in the heart of Glen Ellen. A little out of the way but worth the drive.

We were lucky to visit when Martha (co-owner) was there. She was a super host and answered our numerous questions and made us try their key wines. Awesome Pinot Noirs! They also experiment with Nebbiolo (Italian native grape variety), that was interesting. Good experience for PN lovers.

Went to Talisman a couple weeks back and it was the best experience we had in Napa. Amanda was amazing and very knowledgeable. The wines were fantastic and Amanda consistently provided wines that matched each individual's pallet. This is the only wine club we joined out of the 15 plus wineries we went to.

Our experience with Talisman Winery was fantastic. The pinot noir is some of the best I’ve had and the rose (a surprise)was extraordinary.Marta who owns the winery with her husband is a lovely person who also supports local artists at her tasting room by displaying jewelry and artwork.I highly recommend you try their wines. If you live in North Jersey you can find them at Xplor wine in Demarest. If you are able to visit Marta at their tasting room you should. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I own Xplor Wine in Demarest NJ and have carried Talisman Pinot Noir since we opened in October 2019. We already knew Talisman crafted amazing Pinot Noirs, but we have never visited their beautiful tasting room in Glen Ellen, CA. For context, we've visited approximately 200 wineries/tasting rooms in the last 20+ years and can definitively say that our recent visit was one of our best experiences ever. If you love Pinot Noir, we highly recommend you schedule an appointment. If you're lukewarm about about Pinot Noir, visiting Talisman could turn you into a rabid fan.
