Don’t miss this excellent stop in cute downtown Glen Ellen. Taste delicious red and white varietals, bubbly, and port. Something for everybody! Such a fun experience—it’s a welcoming, comfortable tasting room with a great vibe, including the background music and displayed local artwork and jewelry. The prices for their wines are incredibly reasonable and with a hard-to-find tasting fee of only $15-$20, you really have to check it out. Husband and wife owners, Ryan and Lindsey, personally welcome and serve and they’re very knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly committed to the quality of their wine.

Enjoyed every aspect of this wine tasting. Ryan was fantastic, very friendly and engaging with a great story behind each wine. The building is cute, and very comfortable. I did the basic tasting, and liked all 4 wines. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone doing some wine tasting who doesn't need to go far afield.

Wine Snob* is such a cute and welcoming spot! Lindsey and Ryan have done such a good job making the place cozy and bright. My husband and I just attended a member's night with live music, Erica Ambrin, and food from Chad's Soup Shack. I really love their Syrah - but everything is great. You can tell how much Lindsey and Ryan care about what their doing. Stop by, enjoy the ambiance and the delicious wine.

Wonderful! and, quite surprising really. Our experience at Wine Snob was the complete opposite of what the name implies. (in the best way possible). It felt like I was invited into a whispered tale of the surrounding valleys. The thoughtfulness and care that goes into each bottle is remarkable. Ryans tale of his wife and his adventures finding their dream, their grapes (with their own character and charm) was amazing. I’m extremely happy we stopped in. I’m lucky they chose this as their future. It brought those flavors to an end note on my palate.

Ryan provided an awesome experience. It was our first time in the area and are relatively new to wine and we had a great time visiting & enjoying their offerings. He was also able to give us great recommendations for the area. All at a extremely reasonable cost. Will definitely visit again when we are back.

Loved this little gem! Me, my husband, son and my son's girlfriend were vacationing in July. We took in the sights and saw this cute gem. I wanted to do some wine tasting before heading home. This place did not disappoint! I felt like royalty. The owner personally served us and told us a story about each wine . We were not rushed and he took the time to check on us. We had great conversations and left with a couple of bottles of wine. There's also some souvenirs and jewelry you can purchase too. I also bought some earrings and a couple of wine snob stickers. Thanks for an amazing time!! Can't wait to go back.

Wine Snob* is a great little winery and Glen Ellen is a great little town to visit. We're lucky to live in Sonoma County, so we've had the chance to do A LOT of wine tastings. A LOT :) This was a total shot-in-the-dark choice for us. Weren't sure what to think of the label, but the reviews were good, and sometimes (like this time) you find a real gem like this. I'm going to write mostly about my own experience of the wine, because others have captured the tasting room and experience (both excellent) very well.We did a Sunday afternoon tasting for four people. Two of our group have 'great palates' and can taste subtle flavors and nuances. The other two of us (points at self) aren't very refined -- we mostly just know what we like when we taste it! All four of us agreed: Every wine we tried here was really nice. The Chardonnay Musque is unusual in a good way, for those of us who want to taste the grape not the barrel. (Thank you, Wine Snob.) Rose and Sauv Blanc are nice too, not sweet and not super fruit-forward, very balanced, nice to simply sip but also will stand up to food. But the biggest hit might have been the (T)rebelrouser, a red blend, not the usual Cab-based type that's so common but instead Merlot, Zin and Syrah. Anyway, this family team makes excellent affordable wine, and every choice has a little bit of its own character or point-of-view. It's not a generic line of predictable varietals and tastes. Very much worth your while!

Great wine, lots of variety, very reasonably priced, and nice people to boot. Sort of randomly chose this among various wine tasting options in Glen Ellen, and felt we had hit the jackpot.

We were here last Saturday for live music (and of course some yummy wine). It was a perfect evening event for my wife and I. I loved the clean modern atmosphere in the quaint setting of Glen Ellen. The owners were both there, working their butts off but still kindly introduced themselves without missing a beat. True to their word, it seems they have worked passionately to find and create delicious yet reasonably priced wine (Do NOT forget the Night Owl port before you leave). They had teamed up with a local food truck with great food as well (can’t remember the name, but good banh mi sandwich!!). All in all this is a tasting room we won’t miss on our annual California trip.

A very nice experience tasting with stories from the very friendly owner and winemaker.

Great tasting room! Two blocks from the Jack London Lodge. The owners, Ryan and his partner, warmly welcomed us in their tastefully decorated tasting room. The place has an artsy, industrial vibe. The wall art features the artist who designed one of their wine labels.Ryan is a winemaker who sources his grapes from local vineyards. He freely shares his stories with the guests and the whole experience feels like a get together with friends. Highly recommend it. The wines are good and there’s no judgment here because their premise is that it’s your taste and they are not “ wine snobs”.
