“I was expected this spot to be more authentic based on the name, since only a German can pronounce it correctly lol
This is more a German-American fusion spot. No German beers. Hotdog buns instead of a “bröttchen” served with sausages. No Currywurst (?!?)
The fries tasted great though“

“I have been visiting Schreiners since at least 1996. I am from Germany and this place brings back good memories for me. It tastes and smells like home. They make a lot of their own sausages and smoked meats here, and the quality is consistently great. They carry a great variety of imported products, from pickles to spices and mustards and jams. They even carry some bath and beauty items that people might be missing from their countries of origin. Also, they serve sandwiches on the side. Great customer service in their deli counter and at the register. It is in a cool little area of Montrose with a bakery next door. There is usually parking out front or on the side of their building, so it is convenient to visit. You can even pick up a German magazine if you're into that sort of thing. I visit here a couple of times a month. I highly recommend you try it. You'll be back, craving for more of their products.“
