Whenever my work brings me to California and the LA area, I try to make it to the Glendale Cafe for their wonderful authentic classic Persian style sandwiches. For those of use who grew up in Iran in the 70's this is also a nostalgic experience. Very nice place!

Old fashion sandwich shop (persian style). Food quality was good but dont expect much from it if you are looking for new and hype. Traditional persian sandwiches are great here.

Was recommended this place by someone and it did not disappoint, I'm only disappointed that I didn't know about it sooner. I tried the cow tongue sandwich and it was everything I wished for. All the right flavors with the delicious tender tongue meat cooked to perfection. The parsley and onion give it the right texture and the pickles add just the right about of saltiness and the tomatoes is your something fresh. The bread roll is nice a fluffy. Can't wait to try all of the other sandwiches.

Heres a good Cafe with good sandwiches for a good lunch or something like a basic Ol Skool Cafe look. Ordered a Turkey Ham cut sandwich last time we were here. Food is great and we sat outside hem.with a nice view of the city. You can order hot or cold sandwiches. Has the good Mediterrinean taste and touch to them. Next time ill try a hot sandwich. Staff are friendly and the food is nonexpensive.

Ordered 5 sandwiches, reasonable waiting time, Quality of sandwiches was great, fair prices, owner operated business, and most importantly the place was very neat, however You should pay cash , but guys its worth !

First of all, he doesn't accept any credit card. Second of all, if you are Armenian, don't go there. One day, I was there, and he told me , please leave the restaurant because at the weekends, I always close around 03.00 pm, then when I was passing close by after 30 minutes, I saw there are some costumers there and he was serving them.It is an obvious discrimination.I think Armenian are the tribe worshipers because I saw this kind of discrmination in a hair salloon in Glendale as well. The ironic is that in Iran, many Armenian blame the goverment for discrmination, but they do the same s''' in the U.S.A.
