I've been going to La Cabañita for years! Always good food and good service! Today was a different story! Food was good,however my server was terrible. He looked moody, unapproachable, never came by to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. I did see him on his personal phone. I walked over to the hostess to pay my bill. Server never came by to give me my bill. I notified the hostess that I was not happy with my server and only said sorry. Mind you, restaurant was not busy at all. Next time I go, I will ensure I don't get him as a server.

Low key, unassuming little place with the best food and staff!! The mole enchiladas and vieja ropa were absolute fire. We took home leftovers and were sad to see them finished! Will be back!!

Great food and comforting atmosphere. Chips and salsa are fantastic. Recommended entrees: mole verde with pork, albondigas en chipotle, and chuletas en chile pasilla. Don't get the fajitas.

La Cabanita is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Glendale, CA and that's saying a lot considering how many great spots are in the area. I have always ordered through Postmates, and even though I haven't had the chance to visit in person yet ( Certain of it soon!), the quality and consistency of the food speak for themselves.
My go-to: THE PORK POZOLE is absolutely incredible-rich, flavorful, and comforting every time.They dont skimp on the pork, bountiful tender chunks. Hominy is tender but not too soft. I have tried other Pozole's but La Cabanita just does it right. It is also my remedy ( extra lime and oregano) when feeling under the weather like this past weekend.
ENCHILADA MOLE another standout with a deep, complex but not overpowering sauce that tastes like it's been perfected over generations.
AL Pastor Tacos, Cheese enchiladas, etc. Yes, there is so much more to the menu than most but I like what I like!!! And every order comes with a fresh bag of chips and 2 different kinds of salsa.
Even among the many well-established Mexican restaurants in Glendale, La Cabanita stands out. The food is always high quality, and never disappoints. It's become my go-to for authentic reliably delicious Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend! Viva La Cabanita!!! Muchos Gracias.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend, I had the tacos which were excellent, but actually the part that blew me away was the salsa that came out with the chips. It was possibly the best salsa I've had at a restaurant!
