Found this bakery on Google, I had my daughter’s birthday near by so I wanted to get the cake in the same city. I purchased a slice of cake and it was dryer than the desert. The women that helped me said it was dry because it was already sliced and refrigerated so I took her word for it. I picked up the cake. It was beautiful on the outside and when we cut the cake it was so dry, and there were even dryer pieces. I wish I never bought the cake from her! I knew if I complained I wouldn’t get my money back.

Walked in here last minute to pick up a cake as a first time customer not knowing what to expect and am I glad I did.. Heghineh the owner was an absolutely lovely lady. I wasn't sure what cake to get and she suggested I get a 5 layered mochi cake.. BEST decision.. Office staff absolutely loved the quality, taste and presentation.. I was looking for a very very last minute cake and I called this shop for the first time. Helen was the one who took my order over the phone. I had explained to her that I needed a last minute very girly cake and that I was near her shop to pick up within half an hour. She prioritized my order without hesitation and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Not only was she accommodating, her pricing for the cake was also reasonable! Her shop is so pretty and she also offers other pastries as well. Thank you again Helen for your generosity. The parking for the shop also has 2 designated spots along with a public parking and street parking.

This review is long overdue. Hellen made a last-minute cake that was absolutely SPECTACULAR!! It was for a tiki-themed 50th birthday party, and she really went above and beyond. She is an artist, and on top of that, the cake TASTED AMAZING. One thousand stars!

She recommended her signature strawberry filling and literally the whole guest LOVED IT AND ASKED FOR MORE LOL! We all loved that it wasn't too sweet and the strawberry's were fresh! 100% recommended thank you Helen

One of the best bakeries around. They are my go to for any and all cakes. The cakes don't just look good, they taste incredible as well. With other bakeries you usually have to sacrifice one or the other but with Maksen House you get it all. My cakes always tun out better than expected. I will never go anywhere else.
