Literally the best sandwich is the bad boy with hot pastrami. I’m obsessed with it. It’s so good I’ve put everyone in my life on it.

I went to Mario's Italian Deli based on a review by Obi Eats on YouTube where he hyped the pastrami sandwich and I think the chicken parmesean, not impressed with the service, when I arrived I stood around the counter for 5 minutes waiting for service while 2 ladies behind the counter, one prepping a sandwich and the other one did I'm not sure what, I FINALLY approached and asked if I was in the right place to order and they asked me if I had taken a number well there's no way (if it's your first time) to know this because there's no sign saying so and I NEVER heard anyone calling numbers. I grabbed my number and waited for it to be called never happened I had to watch for it, my number comes up I ordered a pastrami sandwich, Italian sausages, frozen lobster and crab tortellini and 4 imported sodas paid over 50 dollars. I was disappointed in my pastrami sandwich as it wasn't what I thought it would be, their pastrami sandwich comes with not much pastrami, lettuce and tomato and pepperoncini along with mustard all held together in a toasted bun, the sandwich itself was ok but I've never had one with lettuce tomatoes (which I didn't ask for) I was expecting a sandwich like the one you get at Troy's Burger, Phillipe's, Jerry's Deli Brent's Deli pastrami piled high with mustard and pickles, this place has been around a long time and has a following (so what do I know) but it's not for me.

I was on my hotel last night and a segment on a TV local news Mario’s Italian Deli came out. It look really good on tv and I can confirm it. Best sandwich ever bacon nice and crunchy tasty. Would definitely coming back whenever we are in the area.
We were one of the first customers everything looked clean and fresh. Customer service was excellent and especially Jim salute us and gave us a little bit of the history of the restaurant and also gave us a pice of bread with the sauce they made the sandwiches. I knew then I was in the right place
Great place and people!!!

I love a good tuna sandwich on rye and although it’s a bit of a drive, it’s well worth it.
