Pastries are amazing. Stopped for some Baklava and found other great treats. I am not sure if the young lady behind the counter was in a hurry, she kept asking me if there was anything else after each item that I picked. Seemed a little annoyed when I added a candy bar after she had given me the total. She wasn't rude but wasn't to friendly. Pastries are the best.

Today, I bought three cream puffs and one fruit tartlet. Unfortunately, the cream in the puffs was spoiled, with a sour, chemical smell, so we had to throw them away. The fruit on the tartlet also had an unpleasant odor. It's disappointing that the sellers don’t inform customers about old or expired products. This isn’t the first time we’ve experienced this issue, which is why we never buy cakes for holidays from this store. Pass by this store.

I was so excited to go and try the pastries but as soon as I got there the 2 ladies behind the counter made me feel uncomfortable and pressure me to choose when I was actually checking all the items (they all look delicious) so it was hard for me to make up my mind. Then the 2 of them started talking in the language making me feel worse.. I feel so disappointed ? I don’t know if I’m coming back even though the pastries are good. Even my friend that recommended the place told me everything was a lot better when Karim was working there everything was different.

Their pastries are normally good, however today I bought some pastry and tried one in the car and noted it was old and dry. I went inside to tell them and the cashier told me they were made yesterday. I said maybe, but you have mixed with them the older ones. She started arguing with me and called the baker from the kitchen to convince me she made them yesterday, and they are supposed to taste like that. That they are not supposed to be soft, but crunchy. I told them I know the difference and this is not how it is supposed to be.They should be open to criticism if they wantvto maintain their customers, specially in Glendale with so much competition. They had certainly mixed the left over old pastry with the freshly baked ones.I will not go back.
