Used to be one of my absolute favorites. Now they are rarely ever open and when they are, there's no sandwiches, only dry and terrible tenders. The cook that used to work there seems to be long gone. But don't worry, you're unlikely to actually eat here -- they're pretty much closed every day. I miss old Bolo

Went there for lunch twice over 2 weeks around 1:30, closed both times. I don't think there in business anymore.

I used to love this place when they opened. It was quality. In the last year it had gone down hill in quality. I really wanted to leave this review to let you know to call before you come because the last 4 times I've wanted it they've been closed and it's not always on the same day. 1 was on a Sunday and all 3 other times midweek. At least post it on your social media. Luckily there are other tasty options at the market.

Ordered chicken tenders and I got really small pieces. Very disappointed, does not look like the picture

Great food especially if you can eat there. The buns get too soft/soggy on the drive home. -1 star for lackluster service.

What sets BOLO's chicken sandwich apart from its competitors is that the restaurant uses bolo bao buns. I ordered the spicy chicken sando, which comes with a gigantic juicy fried Jidori chicken breast, spicy garlicky aioli, homemade chili spice dust, hot garlic oil, and a zesty Cantonese slaw sandwiched between two hot, butter-toasted bolo buns. The chicken was so crunchy, moist, and flavorful. It nicely balanced out the sweet bolo bun, which I found to be sweeter than expected. I loved the crunch and freshness from the slaw, and the spices added a pinch of heat to every bite. However, I didn't like that the bun kept falling apart as I ate. It was a little messy to eat but definitely worth trying!

Customer service was fine, just had a problem with the food. They were out of bolo bread but didn't let us know in advance. So, got a $12 bolo chicken sandwich at Bolo without the bolo bread. I just got a dry wheat bun instead, so it was a bit disappointing. Again, service was good and they apologized after I asked about it, just wish I was told they were out of the bolo bread before I bought it.

I was so excited to try this place inside the glendora market place with my gf. Drove 45 min away. The pictures looked so good and the price seemed fair, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered the spicy chicken sando for $12. The wait was a bit long probably like 20 min. To my surprise I got a chicken sandwich with a regular hamburger bun! Not a bolo bun at all. Chicken was crispy but pretty thin and tasted dry. Maybe business was slow today as there was only 1 person working there. With that being said, the main point of this store is to offer bolo bun on their menu items. I wasn't even informed that I wouldn't be getting a bolo bun while I placed my order. Definitely felt ripped off. Should've went to Popeyes instead. Definitely better options elsewhere imo. +1 star for the Yelp check in free soda

These fries were NOT worth $5.50. Bland garlic fries and no garlic to be seen or tasted :( would not recommend...

The chicken sandwich was tiny and bites of it were mostly breading. Overly priced and subpar from a previous experience here. I feel like the quality has dropped significantly since they originally opened here.

Bolo inside Glendora public market looksyummy. Employees working were not friendly and were kinda messy & all over the place! One of my girls wanted to try their chicken strips. Also ordered 2 bolo ube ice cream sammy's.Our eldest son already tried their chicken sammy and said it was good.So we figured the strips would be tummy too.Not the case this time the chicken was overcooked and fries tasted old AF!Now, the saving grace was the ube ice cream sammy's my girls said they were bomb!We might hit them up again in the future to see if maybe they were just having a bad day.

Spicy chicken bolo bao. No other words. Kidding! The sandwich was really good, just kinda hard to eat since you want to take big bites at a time. I love the flavors of the spicy chicken and sweet bread + fresh coleslaw. No complaints here!

Bolo has chicken sammy's on pineapple bunz or chicken strips. One of our twins wanted to try out their strips and they also had ube ice cream on pineapple bunz. So we grabbed two for the twins. Also eldest son got the chicken sammy a few times we've been here. ( Son said the bolo chicken sammy is pretty good!) Service was ok! Girls were not rude or friendly. ( just there) Food was not that great this time. Chicken strips were overcooked and dry. Coleslaw was nasty and fries tasted old. Now the saving grace was the ube ice cream bunz. Girls said they were BUSSIN! Not sure if it was an off day or what, but maybe we will give them another chance...

This one is located in the new food hall in Glendora. Place is nice with a lot of seats. High ceiling and don't feel cramped inside. Fyi if you get them at the Smogasburg location, they price a little bit more. Food concept is unique, some kind of fusion. Taiwanese bolo pineapple bun + chicken sandwich. But it's not that good. Bolo bun is crispy and sweet. Not into the sweetness. Prefer the regular soft buttery bun. Chicken is pretty thin. Sauce is ok, helps with the dry meat. Slaw is mediocre. Fries suck. Price in on the expensive side, almost $20 for a combo no drink.
