“I discovered JJs by accident when I made an improper u turn into traffic, and it was one of the best mistakes of my life. I dream of their breakfast sandwiches, especially the croissant one. By far some of the best quality and amount of food for your money and the friendly staff make the experience even more enjoyable. You wouldn't assume this from driving past, but JJs is a Michelin star restaurant in the making and I am obligated to make a pitstop any time I drive through along the 10.“

“I love this place!! They have sandwiches and smoothie drinks. They have great delicious sandwiches. I am a vegetarian and they are willing to make accommodations for me. I go in regularly on my lunch break. The smoothies are so good, so inviting when they are made! You can also get chips, drinks and of course donuts. They even have water if you need to stock up for home. The service is excellent, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is not so great but it's not a restaurant so take your food to go or sit there to eat. I will continue to go Herr on my lunch!

“Everytime I come here, I get the same things (a dozen) and the lady always charges me more then the man does. I like it when he's there, he's way more friendlier than she is. They always give you a baker's dozen, which is pretty cool not too many places do that anymore. Last time we went, for our 13th he gave us this big butterfly looking cinnamon roll with raspberry in it...man was that good! Their donuts are always fresh and great tasting.“

I love the glazed, Boston cream, buttermilk, and apple fritters as well as the jelly-filled ones. Their hot chocolates are also very delicious! “The donuts here are great, they have a nice solid feel, they’re texture is rich, and they taste how you imagine a donut should taste. The man working the counter is friendly and always happy to see you. I love this place, one of my favorite mom and pop shops in Monrovia. I don’t typically stop for donuts ever especially at 1130 at night, however for some reason something told me to stop by at this place to take a look. I walk in to take a look at the variety of different donuts they had. The variety of different donuts isn’t wide but it doesn’t need to be. I am a maple bar fanatic so obviously I picked the cinnamon roll with maple bar icing. After my first bite I was absolutely blown away with how good that donut was.
