“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“Maybe the very best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. Our server was so sure of herself, I decided to let her choose my dish. She picked the aioli spicy chicken sandwich (I would have picked a burger). I am glad I did. I was able to enjoy something delightful I may not have ever tried. Definitely a food stop in Folsom. I found it by looking at reviews. Represa Grill had the highest rating and well deserved.“

“Sunflower Drive-In has not changed in many years. I came here prior to becoming vegan and thought it was good, now I think it's out of this world. Just had a Nutty taco, plenty of food especially with a side order of refried beans. But unlike most food establishments they give you an option of either vegan cheese or avocado on everything. So this is a must visit Drive-In for a very good vegan meal.“

After trying the Birria tacos and huarache it felt like I was just eating from a regular taqueria. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. “My husband and I are newer to the Sacramento area so we haven’t found too many go-to spots yet. We wanted Chinese food and so I looked up places around us and this one had really good reviews. It was about 20 minutes from where we live. The staff was very very friendly, they checked in with us and asked if we needed anything as we ate. We got two different combination plates and a side of potstickers. The plates come with whatever main item you choose and pork fried rice and chicken chow mein unless you tell them otherwise. The plates were pretty packed, the food was hot/fresh and it was very delicious. The potstickers are fried but not overly crunchy which we like. Very good and affordable compared to other places we looked at. The only downside is there is no restroom and nowhere to go in that little plaza and it smelt like someone was smoking cigarettes in the back. Other than that, it was a great first time experience and we will definitely come back!“

That said, it's never a bad idea to put a reservation in. The staff has been friendly from my experience. It's not a good place to go if you want a quiet evening, however It's a great place to go if you want a lively atmosphere and the ability to watch some sporting events. They have a large drink menu if that's your thing. I'm pretty simple in terms of my food tastes so I haven't tried any of the fancier plates. I am a burger and fries kind of guy and I have been pleased with what I have ordered.

Kid-friendliness: I would take my kids here. I have little ones so it's actually a great place because they can be loud and it isn't a problem due to the bustling nature of the restaurant.“

“Honestly couldn’t be better. The food is flavorful and the portions are generous. We eat primarily vegetarian: masala dosa, palak paneer, and malai kofta. The kofta in particular is amazing— they literally melt in your mouth, like little clouds of flavor. I don’t think you could go wrong here. The naan is fluffy, the dosa dough was so thin and light but generous on the filling… I really could go on. Not to mention every server we’ve had was so sweet and eager to answer questions and help.
