We have tried Pho restaurants across the country! This locations broth is amazing! So much so that we asked the owner what his secret was. Pretty impressed by what he said. I really don't want to share it. I think you gotta come find out for yourself. The service was quick and friendly food came out. Pretty fast. It was hot and the noodles were silky smooth. The ambiance was pretty decent, nice music in the background. You could just hear it, didn't take away from the experience of enjoying the food.

Phamous Cafe is hands down our family’s favorite neighborhood restaurant! It’s a wonderful place to enjoy good food in a casual and relaxed environment. We eat here once every week or two and everything on their menu is delicious. The owner and staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and they have my kids’ orders memorized. The combination beef pho is our go-to order, but the chicken, shrimp and vegetable pho options are all great as well. The rice dishes are a tasty option if you’re not in the mood for pho, and the bun and banh mi are refreshing when it’s hot outside, as is their super caffeinated ice coffee.

The customer service was very disappointing. Despite we were the only diners in the restaurant, the server was rude and gave us such an attitude. Unfortunately, I was trying to be kind and was looking forward to a pleasant meal but left feeling disrespectful and unwelcome. Definitely not coming back again. We left a fair amount in tips, BUT if you had a bad day or whatever, take a break. Don’t give such an attitude to your customer. The food was fair.

This is my family's go to place for Pho in Goleta, the owner and the waiter are always kind to us and their Pho is delicious! It's hard to get other dishes besides the Pho, but we've also tried the appetizers and the Rice Vermicelli, and they are also outstanding!

Tom & I couldn't have had a better meal. I had the Spicy Lemongrass chicken. Not overly spicy & fresh vegetables. The price is great for great food. Too bad they're not open on Tues.
Vegetarian options: We're not vegetarian but careful about our intake of certain foods.
Dietary restrictions: The menu has a vegetarian portion. The owner informed us that they bring in daily fresh vegetables.
Parking: We had plenty of parking stalls to pick from. Feet from their front door
Kid-friendliness: We came in Monday evening & l restaurant is set up for the elderly and children. I read it caters to students in the area.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility isn't a problem. No steps or stairs

This is what you need on an overcast day. The broth was excellent as far as restaurant broths go. I got the P4 - rare steak and beef meatballs (with tiny chewy tendons in the meatballs). This is authentic, not watered down pho, served the proper garnishes (Thai basil and bean sprouts). It’s a light soup, despite the beef and the smaller portion was more than enough for me.Does the broth have msg? Probably, but you have to realize that a dash of msg in a giant vat of broth is different than msg sprinkled into every dish at a Chinese restaurant. I’m sensitive to msg but didn’t get a headache here. The service was super fast and my pho came out within 5 minutes of arrival. Is the staff super friendly? Not really, but they’re not rude. My people have been through A LOT. ? The restaurant was very clean and the pho was top notch!

Phabulous place to eat, pho sho!Got to give props to the owner for going all in on the wordplay associated with the name of the signature dish. The Pho itself was cooked in an excellent broth, with an authentic taste and relatively decent prices. My only gripe would be that the amount of pho noodle in the regular size bowl is a bit stingy and nowhere near enough if you're more than a little hungry.

I would just like to mention, the reviews on this place are TOO CRITICAL!!!! the food was cheap for it's quality AND a lot of people talk about the shrimp being unseasoned or unsliced simply because they IGNORED THE DIPPINGS AND SEASONINGS!!!! Would highly recommend.Food takes 7 minutes to come in and has great quality as well, (personally recommend the fried rice!!!)
