Charlotte isn't going to like this but I have to let you all know my experiences at Mohawk Tavern. Our favorite dive bar decorated with so much love and history. They've got a pool table, corn holes, jukebox., flat screen TV, comfy bar stools and high top tables in semi lit room, spacious outdoor patio with all the colors you need in hanging baskets and planter boxes but that's all easy to access maybe not that lovingly. Situated in a historic block, it has an outdoor patio that features live music but the whole establishment is very anti-DOG, so there are a bunch of dogs in cars in the parking lot. If they would change that one thing it would be a really fun place with better than expected pizza and cookies and other bar eats. Mosquitoes abound.

Love the outdoor bar area. Excellent pizza and the drinks are amazing and brought to your table. The entertainment is always the best. Live music and fun patrons. This time the band was Battleground, from Reno and they kept us entertained all evening. The staff are great, wonderful, helpful and friendly. The establishment is clean and inviting. Looking forward to next visit.
