Amazing wine tasting experience here with a darling old lady. If I have another chance to get here, I will definitely stop by again!
Update: next time were in the area we will stop. Please update your hours, just stopped by and your sign says you open at 12:30. Got off freeway to try your wine. Disappointed.
This is a wonderful winery and tasting room! These are not your normal NorCal wines.Rob has used some amazing Italian grapes to create blends and varietals you won’t find anywhere else.My group did not have one taste we didn’t love! Totally inexpensive tasting fee, but that won’t matter because you are sure to buy a bottle or 6!
Some of the best wine in the area. I always look forward to my wine club pick up!
A hidden wine treasure in Nevada County! We went to the tasting room in Grass Valley and were served/educated by Rob, the owner & winemaker. They make primarily make Italian wines so you won’t taste a Chardonnay or Cab but other VERY good wines. What an amazing experience and education - he should be teaching at UC Davis as he’s a walking encyclopedia about Italian and European grapes & wines. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
Always enjoying my visits to their tasting room.Very interesting vines.P.S. member for last 5 years.
I really enjoyed the wines offered here. The wines are all crafted in the European / French style. The wine maker uses many interesting varietals not seen in most places. It is a great experience to taste his blends. We went in on a Saturday and had a full tasting. The woman offering the tasting was very nice and quite knowledgeable about these wines and wine on the whole. The whites and the rosé were refreshing and delicious, every one. The reds were were also fabulous. I had difficulty choosing a favorite. We purchased several bottles and my friend joined their wine club.I highly recommend visiting here.
