First time at Diego’s and we’ll definitely be back. Great food, chill atmosphere, and a super welcoming spot for kids and dogs. Loved the outdoor seating and how relaxed everything felt—no stress, just good eats. Staff was friendly and patient, which always matters when you’ve got kids with you. Awesome local find in Grass Valley.
First time trying out this local legend of a restaurant but certainly not the last! We took a chance showing up without a reservation but got seated straight off. The hostess was fun and friendly with a great sense of humor and understood our vibe right away. The fun started with speedy delivery of beverages and delicious bread made right on site, and Quinn, our server, knew the menu inside and out and helped us make good decisions. My swordfish was cooked perfectly and was tender...
I met the owner at Safeway earlier this year and she suggested we try her restaurant.
We have been 4 or 5 times since then. Every time we visit we are greeted with a smile from everyone and there is never a problem if you ask for something extra. We brought our daughter and our grandsons yesterday. ( Teens) The oldest is beyond picky. He ordered the fajitas, both my daughter were shocked, he ate every bit of it.
