Was in town for business and decided to have a little fun singing karaoke at Gary’s. The town of Grass Valley has me sucked in. I’m from KY and I thought we had nice people but Grass Valley and Gary’s had some of the most down to earth, friendly, yet fun people. The bartender was/is a metal drummer, and a great and attentive bartender too! Go to Gary’s. You won’t regret it

Kid-friendliness: It is a bar, so no kids are allowed to be in the bar area!!!But they are dog friendly!!!!That is nice and unique in an eating establishment!!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: I was able to easily get into the door and sit down at a table!!Everyone was very accommodating and friendly

Horrible customer service (2/10/24). Bartender was not friendly and made no eye contact after 20 minutes. It was not even "busy!" It felt intentional that they couldn't even make eye contact with us. Like, they didn't seen our business?!

No service. Stopped in for a drink and bite to eat with friends. We were standing at the bar for 15-20 minutes. The bartenders didn't so much as make eye contact much less take an order or say "hi, be right with you." We finally left and went someplace else.

Just a local bar on the really newly done promenade downtown Grass Valley. Pleasantly surprised at the food it was excellent.

We stopped in before and after a birthday party of a lifetime local. We enjoyed the evening until I paid our $300 tab, and they escorted us out. It’s a locals bar. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough bars in GV.

Randomly ended up in Grass Valley at Gary's Place for lunch on a Sunday. The Tri Tip sandwiche is amazing. The meat was excellent the chimichurri sauce is next level good. I also had the Cream Chicken soup which was also great. My Wife had a flat bread with a great mix of greens and olives balsamic vinegar which was great. Service was super fast and attentive and they were busy so definitely on top of their game. Had our well behaved dogs along and they were welcomed too.
