So overpriced. Consistently disappointed. Would be excellent to be able to go out for a slice and have it be good experience, but alas the only consistency is disappointment.

We stopped by while visiting my hometown. Love the sidewalk seating. She had the pesto and me the combo "monster slice". She could not stop on hers and over ate for her it was so good. Mine was perfect. Thin, crunchy crust, easy on the sauce and cheese and good chunks of meat and veggies. Light and delicious but a combo! Great job, guys! Nice selection of beers and soda also.

Stopped by while out for a walk with my dog. Ordered one of the specialty slices of the day and it wasn't bad. It was also nice to sit outside! Unfortunately, the server was very rude when I ordered and again when she brought my slice to the table. Don't think it's worth returning

I ordered online, a meatball sub, salad and garlic fries. When I arrived to pick up the food there were maybe 2 people in the restaurant (so they weren't busy) and my order had no fries. I inquired as to why and the employee who was working after looking at my receipt clearly showing that fries had been ordered said "I don't know about that, fries aren't $1.50". I was in a bit of a hurry else I would have pressed the issue to either get my fries or get my money refunded. Also the drunk person who wandered in from the nextdoor bar and had come in after me was clearly upset that my issue was impeding their ability to order so I bailed. Unfortunately, this is like the third sub-par experience I have had at this place (I've been there three times, each time has been off either because the food was mediocre or there was some weird issue). Sadly it's a small town so there aren't a lot of options, but next time I am going to make the extra effort to find somewhere else to eat.

Excellent pizza with exceptional crust. Very accommodating and friendly staff in a low-key pizza-pub setting. The Caesar salad is good, too! Thanks for your attention to the details on the yummy gluten-free pizza crust with non-dairy toppings. Yummy.Dietary restrictions: Check out the gluten-free pizza.

Pizza was good but service was terrible unfortunately. Server didn't apologize for forgetting us even though we were a large table in the middle of the room. Don't get barbecue chicken pizza - no chicken hardly. We came at a non busy time (Sat afternoon) so really no excuse. We wish the server would have at least kept in touch.

We love Pete’s!!! Best pizza in Grass Valley!!! We don’t eat meat, so we always get the figgy piggy, no piggy, add sautéed mushrooms and it is outstanding every time! Plus great, friendly service and the Mac and cheese bites will start an insatiable craving!!!! ♥️♥️♥️Vegetarian options: Creative and delicious salads and pizza combos, some already vegetarian, and others can easily be modified and made heartier and tastier by adding sautéed mushrooms!Dietary restrictions: They have GF options!Parking: We always get a spot right in front!Kid-friendliness: Great menu options and welcoming environment! Max and cheese bites are the best!

Enjoy the venue and staff very nice. Only issue it took a long time to get our order. Otherwise would have upped the rating.

Honestly, this place WAS good. Over the last year, it has just gone down hill and lost its roots. My most recent visit was the straw that broke the camels back. First, their service went to absolute garbage. From getting the wrong orders, to waiting for what seemed to be forever to actually get our food on a relatively slow setting. Usually the wait for good food is acceptable, but that brings me to my next gripe. The food just isn't.... good. From pies to calzones, they just dont hold a candle to the flavors that they could give in years past. They even skimp on the toppings and sauce compared to the old days. The crust is disgusting now, and the menu has been changed so much that you can't really enjoy something without needing to add or remove ingredients which cost even more. Lastly, and speaking of costs, they made me MANDATORY tip 20%. That would be fine if the service would match. Cold/wrong pizza, no real drink options or at least a soda machine for the kids. Just warm beer to wash down the nasty dry bread like Papa Murphys style crust. Its just sad. Gone are the old days where this was me and my daughters Favorite pastime. We will miss our favorite pizza place.

Maxwell is the new manager here and what a personable guy! Classically trained and here to support his family. Environment makes for good conversation for good conversation. Great information about the on tap beers and the food! Cade is wonderfully personable !

Ordinary.... Nothing really more to say. I've had better from a frozen box. I won't go back.
